Decluttered today:
Wheelie bin full of ivy clippings from the garden
Emptied car bin
Read and recycled letters from parents' evening that were left in the car
Posted discount code on forum and put letter in recycling0 -
Just sorted out the airing cupboard and outed some old face cloths and those Liz Earle linen cloths - which I had loads of.
Another drawer in the spare bedroom gone through and two empty boxes binned to make one empty drawer.
Edited to add that three black bin bags of general rubbish and bits and bobs from drawers and cupboards has gone into the bin this week. That is three bags of rubbish less in the house.
Make-up bag gone through and few bits of make-up binned. Sewing box gone through and some bits binned. My dressing table drawer has been dealt with, tied up and some odds and ends binned.Cat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money:beer:

Been on a mission dealing with daily clutter since home from school run:
- School bags emptied/permission slips signed and returned to bags, snacks put in for Monday;
- School shoes polished, football boots cleaned;
- Darks load through WM including PE Kits, now in TD, lights load in now, so washing basket empty (for at least 5 minutes);
- Sandwich boxes/water bottles all emptied/cleaned;
- Hall and kitchen floor swept;
- Kids tea done, a la carte tonight (fish/chips/beans);
- Several cuppas along the way (not counting number of custard creams I've decluttered to keep my energy up);
- Kids baths done, in their jim-jams;
- Almost dead flowers decluttered from lounge;
- Guinea pigs fed and lots of hay, it's VERY cold here, bird feeders filled up:
- Anti-bacced (new word possibly) kitchen work surfaces;
- Kitchen bin emptied, recycling out;
- Quick declutter of fridge/food cupboards, not much wastage, a crust of bread too dodgy even for the birds!
. Hope everyone is staying warm x

Hi peeps,
Ages since I last posted!
Yesterday managed to recycle and chuck lots of garden debris, so it is beginning to look a bit tidier.:cool:
Today a lot of kitchen equipment was sorted through and either binned or put in bag for CS. I have much tidier and organised cupboards now.:D
Leftover pasta 'decluttered' into my belly for dinnerMortgage-free wannabe!0 -
Hi MummyEm,
I'm just back from dropping off stuff at my local NCT sale too! Playroom is looking tidy - good luck with your sales! xSound like everyone's having a very productive day today :beer:
I have finally finished cleaning and labeling up my items to sell at local NCT sale. Around 150 items in total (lots bundled up!). It will be nice to add some money to the holiday fund but quite honestly, I just want it all gone! Also a large carrier bag of hangers to take as they are always after spare ones. This has made a big dent in the conservatory clearance, but I've hardly even touched the playroom or kids bedrooms.
I have bagged up three bags to drop off to CS later including lots of toys, puzzles, bedding and I can't even remember the rest (I must have really NEEDED it right)).
Also have kids library books in the car ready to drop off later.
Out tonight and busy day planned tomorrow so decluttering will now be put on hold until Sunday. I have a major cleaning day planned for Sunday. With lots of washing and ironing too. I'm finally starting to feel back to my normal self after being poorly. House looks so dirty :eek: that I'm actually looking forward to cleaning :rotfl:
Have several ebay items due to finish over the next few days with lots that have bids on :T Still have a few more items to list which I will try to do a couple at a time today and tomorrow in between planned activities.
Off to have lunch now before collecting DS from playgroup.
I hope you all have a great day x0 -
