I'm still poorly :( I think the cold I have is developing into an ear infection. I am slowly working through my to-do list but everything is taking a long time as getting tired very easily and having to do everything sitting down!
I've now labelled up 3/4 of the items I'd set aside to sell at a local baby items sale.

Also packed up 10 more ebay items which all sold yesterday and day before. I will take these to the PO after lunch.
Have another item being collected Saturday too.

The house is filthy  but it is starting to look a bit less cluttered. Consevatory is almost fully cleared and builder ready :j

Just been to PO. It felt good getting rid of those ten parcels :) Also posted two letters and two birthday cards. Cards were from the big stash and all the eBay packaging from the piles in the study so lots gone from there too.
I've also sorted my packaging stash neatly into a plastic storage box.

    -some packaging binned/recycled
-bag to ragbag (was full of packaging that was give to me by my mum)

I've just decluttered the pile of paperwork that was sitting in the hallway. I've had more of a cleaning rather than decluttering day. It is so much easier to clean without the clutter in the way. After my half term efforts the kitchen/livingroom/dining room all look much better. Still lots to do upstairs, it won't get finished this holiday but I will need to keep on top of the boys bedroom as the plan is to decorate it during the Easter break.

    Happy decluttering

Well done to all of you who have had a productive day.

Hi all, have been absent from here so far this month:(. But gave myself a kick up the whatever Tuesday night after work. So here I am but only for a week as we are then off for a two week holiday, so can't wait.:j

I have been good though as my ironing basket is emptied as soon as I take things of the clothes horse and then also put away. Washing up is done before we turn in for the night, not left until the next day. So I am trying harder to get the house in order.

Anyway yesterday I finally loaded 12 bags of clothes into the back of the car and dropped them at the local charity shop. Felt so great, only problem is the space they left has been filled with Henry and our suitcases. But I can now see the landing floor as this was where Henry had been living.

I also sent off 5 of the 8 mobile phones to Asda for recycling, so hopefully will have some spending money for our holiday. The other 3 I can't get prices for so unsure what to do with them.

So feeling pretty good at the moment and planning what to do on Saturday as am at work tomorrow all day. Am thinking about tackling the wardrobes in the spare room one of which is completely full of knitting wool. Trying to find a knitting group in the area that may welcome it.

The other is where we keep all our motorbike gear, but it also holds a stash of alcohol, which has been there since we moved here 8 years ago, neither of us drink and we don't tend to get visitors who will partake as they are usually on their bikes and the hardest thing they tend to have is my tea. I know if OH sees me pouring it away there will be an argument so will have to work at it stealthily.;)

Been having problems with our broadband router and whilst routing round under the desk trying to unplug power cables etc came across four boxes which housed our old routers that had packed up and two that his daughter had given him (sky routers that no longer worked). When I tried to sort them for recycling he went mad. This is what I am up against :( they definitely don't work, will never work so why are we keeping them? his answer - you never know they may come in handy - for what? doorstops?

Sorry long ranting post, making up for not being here for three weeks. Just seen the Flash advert with the bleach who isn't loved anymore makes me chuckle each time. Am off now to catch up on thread since I was last on here.
