Lots out, or nearly out today. Sorted 2 boxes of cards and other bits, bag for charity shop, some for another charity, some binned which weren't nice/were horrid and about 500 packaged up to go to volunteers to make kids smile with, dread to think the cost of 500 stamps ontop of the cost of sending the parcel of cards!Best wins in 2013 £200 and Mini iPad. 2014 no wins. 2015 2 nights 5* hotel with £300 vouchers plus £1150 Harrods gift card

 Good Morning everybody - feels like ages since I last posted on here ...................
It's been a busy half-term week with various dgks visiting on/off most days, so decluttering hasn't stood any chance at all. I've tried to keep up with all your postings, but found myself almost 'nodding off' at the keyboard in the evenings
.
Well done to all those of you who've continued with your decluttering whilst having kids at home all day - you're a bunch of Trojans to be able to keep up the motivation :T
Had a great 'FREE' Day at the National Wildflower Centre with dgs1 on Wednesday. He's 11, and I was worried that it may have been a bit young for him, but as he has ADHD/ASD/Dyslexia, he found it a very good, practical hands-on activity. We wandered along a woodland footpath searching for 'Signs of Spring' from a photographic tick-list suitable for all ages/abilities followed by 'Snowdrop Planting' which everybody took home with them. Would have gone back again today as they're doing a 'Bird Feeder Workshop', but he's going to visit his dad for the weekend - what a shame as it was ME that was looking forward to it :rotfl:.
I have managed to 'keep on top of' day-to-day rubbish/recycling and a small amount of decluttering.
OH has commented on noticing that the number of boxes has decreased as I've managed to combine their contents PLUS he voluntarily gave me quite a bit of stuff for the CS this week :j. I also had a 'cull' of my handbags which I found very painful indeed- but sold one immediately for £2.50 at the CS - I'd only paid £1.00 at a jumble sale for it
.
Somebody asked for my 'Files, Project Folders, Plastic Pockets, Manilla Envelopes' but hasn't yet shown up to collect them - which my 2nd recent 'no-show' on Freecycle  - but I've got another person who's expressed a keen interest, so it looks as though I'll be contacting her to see if she still wants them - fingers crossed, as they're 'way-too-good-to-chuck-out' PLUS cost quite a bit to buy 'new'.
I've got a completely free day ahead, so am now off to try to 'declutter' some garden waste where I'd been cutting back some shrubs - BEFORE I realised that I'd no gardening gloves for picking up bramble branches. Yesterday I bought the necessary gloves, a garden rake and some long-handled hedge-clippers to reach the higher growth.
Oh dear, OH has just commented that it's beginning to snow  - good excuse for another :coffee: before I make a start .............
Be back in again later, to see how everybody else is doing - Lilyplonk x0 -
Sound like everyone's having a very productive day today
I have finally finished cleaning and labeling up my items to sell at local NCT sale. Around 150 items in total (lots bundled up!). It will be nice to add some money to the holiday fund but quite honestly, I just want it all gone! Also a large carrier bag of hangers to take as they are always after spare ones. This has made a big dent in the conservatory clearance, but I've hardly even touched the playroom or kids bedrooms.
I have bagged up three bags to drop off to CS later including lots of toys, puzzles, bedding and I can't even remember the rest (I must have really NEEDED it right)).
Also have kids library books in the car ready to drop off later.
Out tonight and busy day planned tomorrow so decluttering will now be put on hold until Sunday. I have a major cleaning day planned for Sunday. With lots of washing and ironing too. I'm finally starting to feel back to my normal self after being poorly. House looks so dirty  that I'm actually looking forward to cleaning :rotfl:
Have several ebay items due to finish over the next few days with lots that have bids on :T Still have a few more items to list which I will try to do a couple at a time today and tomorrow in between planned activities.
Off to have lunch now before collecting DS from playgroup.
I hope you all have a great day x0 -
Perfection is a futile endeavor you only see in magazines.
Contentment comes from within, not the entrapment of consumer purchases.
We are always looking to upgrade, something new, better or bigger.
What do we do with out old stuff? Declutter.
With that today I have blessed another home with a pan and lid. Almost new wok(I did not like).
x2 black bags in bin.
Today I am thinking of going threw the stored boxes in the utility room. They just sit there and collect dust
Done. 4 storage boxes down to 1 + 1large black sack to bin and box of giveaways. The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)0 -
Oh dear, I haven't managed lunch yet, got distracted by the Garden Trading Co website! This is how it happens, I declutter then get distracted by lovely looking things again.
Lunch will have to wait, I must go collect DS and not forget him in favour of eyeing up new storage jars!0 -
Afternoon All
Just finished my working week, hurrah! Only really manage to keep up with daily clutter and household/mum jobs on days when I'm working, so ready for a few declutter projects now. Looks like artic temperatures until I'm back at work on Tuesday, so it will be indoor decluttering with the heating on!
Everyone has been busy busy on here, well done all :T. Don't want to let the side down, so once I've done school pick up and sorted DS and DD with a drink and a snack, will get started with something useful. Hope to report a HUGE list of jobs done/stuff decluttered later.
Keep Smiling0 -

I love that site, I bought these last Sunday from a cook shop in Northants. They are sat on my dresser mixed in with my lovely Emma Bridgewater stuff.

Cleaned out the underneath of the kitchen sink and decanted a few bottles/sprays with the same product on the go.
Had a small tidy in the garage. Still trying to get out there but at the moment it is so damn cold. It is still on my list though.
Forgot to add I have made a start on some of the books that I have and need to be cleared through. The rest are up in the loft and will need to be blitzed out and taken to the CS.Cat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money:beer:
