DH decluttered the ironing basket yesterday. I managed to hem 2 pairs of trousers. One pair has been pinned up waiting for over 5 years
    Not much else done :(

Took a black bag of rubbish to the tip along with an old mattress and a bag of clothes weighed in for £4.50.
Trying to decide if it is worth taking the frame to one of the metal weighing in places but not sure if it is worth the trip?

Hello everyone :j Been too busy to post but I've still been decluttering. And organizing too.

My sewing machine now has a snuggly bag to keep it and its bits all together.

The dining table is clear for all the family later. :A

    Happy valentine's day everyone!

Thanks very much - have added it onto my Kindle.

    Done a bit of decluttering:

1 carrier bag of gibble to bin from DD's room
3 school cardigans outgrown - will take these into school for them to use as spares
    3 school skirts - CS
Pair of outgrown jeans - CS

Not a lot really but have been out most of the day and each bit saves a bit more room doesn't it

  • Sorry haven't been around for a while but I had another burst of decluttering the night before last and cleared out some old kitchen stuff - some to the bin and some for the second hand shop. This means I finally have enough space to put away various stuff that's been sitting on the countertop. I feel good about this :) Hope everyone else is doing ok!
  • Had a quiet few days decluttering, but I've done a few bits and made some pennies. Hoping to have a good rummage tomorrow :)

    57. Set of drawers. Sold on FB & collected.
    58. Set of wheels off OH car, sold on ebay & collected.
    59. DD2 coat sold on FB, collected.
60-61. 2 bags of recycling. In blue bin.
    62. Junk mail. recycled.
    63. Carrier bag full of bits of rubbish lying around. Bin.
    64. Empty perfume bottle. recycling

Can't see too much of a difference yet unfortunately! I'm hoping to keep the momentum up though to simplify things at home so I can keep on top of the housework. About to list several things on ebay now but will wait until they (hopefully) sell before listing here :)

    Happy decluttering!

I haven't had time to post this month, but I have been steadily decluttering.

Today I am going to tackle a few things that I keep putting off. I figure that by declaring it here, I will shame myself into doing it!

    -post ebay parcel
-complete DD's passport form (this has been hanging around since September!)
-One large item to list on FB (free if necessary, just need to get rid!)
    -List one item on ebay
    -answer ebay questions
-empty old metal biscuit tins to recycling (I've been staring at these for two weeks wondering if I can find another use for them, I haven't come up with anything so they need to go.)
    -pay two bills
-check when DH's car is due MOT
    -do some filing
-make a start on sorting items for local NCT sale

All actually want to do is get out into the garden if the weather is anything like as nice as it was yesterday :( Must focus on the bigger picture, by end of the summer house extension and new patio will be finished, and I will have managed to declutter the whole house. I WILL DO IT, I WILL DO IT, I WILL DO IT!

I should really do some washing and ironing too, but these won't be listed as 'have to do', just extras. I also need to clear out the kids wardrobes, and go get their feet measured, they may need new shoes. I think this can go on tomorrow's to-do.
