After my slow start, had quite a successful day in the end. A good tidy up of paperwork on side in kitchen (which seems a never ending battle) and threw quite a bit away. Went into town with DS and DD to get a few bits they needed, mission accomplished without too much conflict
. Got some bargain stationery at Mr T. Bit more clutter, but stocked up for next few years! Nice evening looking after a colleague's baby for a few hours, lovely and good as gold, although me, DS and DD fighting for a cuddle.
Mrs Gibbs, hope you're doing ok. Don't know the circumstances, but I know how painful separation is. It's just getting through one day at a time in my experience, I'm still taking that approach six months on, but I have healed and moved on so much already when I think back to the state I was in. It's so true what people say about time being a great healer. Hang on in there.
I've promised myself outstanding performance on the decluttering front tomorrow...

Mr F insisted on carrying it downstairs on his own - against my wishes. :mad:He feel headlong down stairs landing on top of the computer desk which smashed into bits. Mr F hit his head on the sideboard in the hall where he landed so dripped blood and has a nasty gash on his head. :eek:His shoulder has a lovely bruise - if only he had listened to me!I had just hoovered all the stairs and hall - had to redo it to clear up the mess.
Only just reading the past few days blogging. Hope he's okay, my husband is just like yours insisting on doing things himself "I can manage"attitude. At least he's still here and you can constantly remind him :rotfl:0 -
Sorry didnt get back yesterday but managed to de-clutter quite a lot of washing and ironing, had haircut and did weekly shop. have had quite a few "ins" over the last few days but I am extremely happy with these as they were comp wins
Wii Fit & Balance Board
Sebo Vacuum Cleaner (worth £250, I would NEVER pay that for a vacuum, lol)
A letter stating I've won £100 from apostcard comp
woohoo, seems to have lifted my mood and made me more motivated to keep entering the comps and to more motivated to de-clutter too.
Congratulations it's good to know someone actually wins :jmaybe I should spend the day entering competitions rather than housework

First job is clean the bathroom and declutter some bottles that are never used.

We have a basket for hair care. Just counted 7 diffrent shampoo and 5 conditioner bottles. We will not need to buy more! HA, ha..
I tried the 15 minutes timer fly lady says about. Well. I needed more like half an hour.
Found 2p on the floor wile vacuuming, I decluttered it to my purse
Cleared a table top and some paper went in the recycle bin. Gave a good dust too!The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)0 -
