hannerbabes - you are such a good child - I have just noticed your goals for 2014 - stay focused and determined and you will set the world on fire xxx

    Aww thank you Donna! :)
Sometimes it is hard to stay determined especially when I have financial issues. But the prize will be at the end of this road. Thanks!:)

 evening all - hope you're all managing to keep warm and safe today. We had a little snow yesterday, but fortunately not enough 'to stick'. Today the winds have finally died down and we've had some sunshine though it's still been HSshiver.gif. From what I can see of weather reports, it looks as though Scotland, Northumberland, North Yorkshire and Lincolnshire have had the worst of things - so special ((((hugs)))) and 'warm vibes' to you all.

Well done to everybody on all your progress in the past few days.

Sorry you didn't feel that the interview went well, Doolallydilly - but if, as you say, the job didn't feel right, then maybe it's for the best. But at least, you got some good interview experience - so all's not completely lost :T. Best of luck for next time ..........

Sorted through a box of bags and scarves today - the ones that I really want to keep are now attached nicely to my Ikea hanger on the back of the bedroom door for now. Will get some 'cup hooks' tomorrow and hang them inside the wardrobe door to make things a bit tidier. The bags are also sorted - some have been put to one side for CS tomorrow morning :) - another empty box for the outdoor lock-up :). Found a 2nd hairdryer and 3 more curling tongs at the bottom of the box ................. :o. They've been 'hidden' in my holiday vanity case for now, till I can find somebody who'd like them icon_rolleyes.gif. Finally found my HSnails.gif stuff in there as well :j.

Used up a bottle of shower gel - bottle into recycling.

After much 'creeping', I persuaded OH to move the PC Desk back to its original position - at least I tried it in the other position. If we hadn't done that, it would have always 'bugged me' as to whether or not it would fit ;). Living room is looking good at the moment plus we can use the dining table properly as it's finally accessible :T.

I'm getting off now to go and sort the evening meal - but I'll pop back in again later to catch up with everybody again. - Lilyplonk xx

Oo flying mamma how exciting. As for finding long lost things today i decided to iron all my clothes and there on my jeans which are a bit tight was my pedometer :D
    1) tee shirt from ironing bought it 2004 on holiday and it's running to holes
    2) again from ironing, one pair of torn cords into rag bag
    3) knickers that fit noone in the house to ragbag
    4)!odd glove to rag bag
    5) plastic beads to bin
    6 - 9) children videos to bin
    And then to music room
    10) my recorder i had aged 7. It's wooden and wont get upper octave so bin
    11) oh's recorder ditto
    12) old piano music bag broken beyond repair to bin. It was from my grandparents, long time deceased, so had sentimental value but now gone

Oh dear... had it been there all the time and been through the washing machine?
Found out today going to have baby on valentines day !!!
Congratulations! You'll have to call him Valentine if it's a boy!!!

After consulting my 'still to declutter' list, found out a few more bits that I took to the charity shop today when I went into town.

    18. 2 mugs
    19. 2 egg poaching rings
    20. Pyrex rolling pin (last used about 15 years ago!)
    21. Chicken roaster thing
    22. 2 loaf tins
    23. Sit-on car toy
    24. Turtle toy with wheels
    25. Junk mail that came today
    26. Cotton bud container plus 3 lids previously collected from same containers (I'm sure I could 'do something' with them, but as I haven't got the time nor the ideas at the moment, I've decluttered them.

See, I am a changed woman! Previously I would have put them in a drawer or cupboard to play with at some future date.

Going to be sewing bags tomorrow with a friend, so will be decluttering a bit more fabric and sewing thread.
Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing
