    Morning Rising

How did you bidding war go?. Hope it reached the amount you wanted.

I have a bracelet finishing Sunday with 20 people watching. Fingers crossed people have more money to spend in January than I do :)

Hope you have a lovely weekend.

Hello, hello I feel as if I have been a bit MIA today. I have barely had a chance to catch up since first thing this morning.

The bidding war turned out quite well and the item I had on there went for over £10 more than I had listed it at :j That and another sale means I have £50 to transfer from paypal to my bank account on Monday :T I can't wait, that's another £50 off the overdraft :j My od is starting to look like a fairly normal typical od amount, instead of something that would make your toes curl :)
I have another 13 things listed to sell and not one bid (but a few watchers) but I care not a jot, I'll just relist until they give me something out of pity :)

I have been to Mr T. Armed with my weekly £100 budget (this is for all spends, grocery, petrol, bits and bobs etc), my list and my various vouchers I went in to do battle and came out victorious. :j:j I spent £43 and I did pick up some bits that weren't on my list but I will need them soon and they were on offer. I know that I don't need any petrol this week and apart from posting the ebay parcels I have no intention of spending anything else. That means a saving of £57 out of this weeks budget. :T It will roll over to next week. The receipt has been duly logged into Mr T's price checker thingy.
The rest of the day has been spent washing, ironing, mopping, scrubbing, polishing, hoovering, and walking. After walking coming home and mopping and washing again.
Will it ever be dry again??????
I do all this in preperation for tomorrow when I intend to sit on my 'arris from dawn til dusk :rotfl: The last day of the holiday season and it will be a full year before we have to through the whole ordeal again so I intend to savour the fact that is all over and we don't have to worry about it again for ages. :)

Have a great evening everyone :)

:j:j That's brilliant Freeby:j:j it'll be gone in no time at this rate :T:T

Wish I could find something worth listing ... it all went when I was clearing the "big debts" tho' and TBH I've not really been that "silly" with money since so don't really have that much that I don't use - aside from books & will need to pluck up courage before I list them as I find them a pain in the butt :o

Enjoy the last day .... ;)

Great news about the Ebay sales.

I am abit like that Rising, I am running out of anything worth selling :rotfl:. I must admit though, if I can face selling them, I do like selling books because at least they are easy to package with no chance of them breaking in the post.

The packaging up is the bit I hate the most. Especially anything fragile.

    Keep going FreebyFifty :T
  • A very productive day on all counts!:j

I hope you enjoy a relaxing day tomorrow.:)

    Good Morning :)

Thank you to everyone for supporting me and motivating me. You are a lovely lot :A

What to do today???? Nothing very much and I am looking forward to it :T

I have done a couple of surveys this morning which will eventually add up to something for nothing :)
Checked ebay and I have something else finishing today which had another of those middle of the night bids on it :T Not very much but I'll leave it in my paypal account and it will pay the ebay fees at the end of the month :)
Have ratched out another few things to put on later today to replace the things I've sold. I am trying to keep it up but eventually the stash will run dry. To be honest, I am not putting anything very much worthwhile on there but it is surprising what other people will buy. And as long as they are paying me for my old tat then I'm not complaining :)

9 days to pay day. I seem to just wish my life away from one pay day to the next. I would really love to be in the position where pay day doesn't really mean so much. Having some money in the bank at the end of each month is like a dream to me :o I will get there though. Sheer determination will see me right :)

First job of the day - walk the dogs and then I might get some peace later on :)

    Have a good day everyone.

:rotfl::rotfl:I'm just back mine and they are suitably empty now ;)

We get paid the 15th of every month. Which I quite like, it means January, in particular, doesn't feel as long as it does for others.

Next job - sort out the bag of clothes-for-cash which is being collected tomorrow. It's full of stuff that wouldn't fetch 3p on ebay and the charity shop would probably send there anyway so I might as well get a couple of quid for it. :)

*sigh* I wish I was paid something sensible like that!

Mine is the last working day - so the date varies each month and often means we're not paid until well after many others (who are maybe paid the last Thursday or Friday) - nothing worse if you're not getting paid until the Monday after everyone else!

If the 15th of the month falls on a Saturday or Sunday we get paid on the Friday before, which means there is never a bad Friday the 13th for me :)

2nd job all done and 3rd job done too. I have sold my old mobile phone for the best price I could find. Which will be about two and four pence 'apenny but I don't care it's all cash in the coffers :)

Steely determination will see me through this month :D
