Morning Freeby ... same to you & yours

Funny how it's "doggy" (and probably "horsey" - winks at Piq) people who're up this early on NYD!

Indeed we were! I actually scrubbed out a stable with hot soapy water today. Can't see why the horse can't have a nice start to the new year too :)

    Good Morning :)

I hope today finds you bright and breezy and not hungover :)

I went to visit some relatives yesterday and we had a few drinks and then decided it would be a brilliant idea to head off to the pub  An afternoon of karoke ensued and you should know that I am now a dab hand at Hey Jude :rotfl:
I didn't spend a penny even though I offered and better offered but as I was a lone female my male rellies wouldn't hear of it. I love my family to bits.
I was home by 5 and staggered off to walk the dogs and by the time we got home again I was sober, so I really enjoyed my day with no ill effects :T

Will not be doing much today. Christmas tree etc will come down, general housework all done and then an afternoon with feet up on the couch watching carp on the telly - Bliss :)

It is another Bank Holiday in Scotland today so nothing has changed in the bank account :) and there are no changes on my ebay items. I have 13 listed and bids on 2 of them. I don't mind if they don't sell first time, I'll just relist and relist until they do :)

Have a great day everyone :D

Gosh, it has been a long day has it not?

Apart from walking the dogs twice I have not done anything :o and I am exhausted :o

Back to work tomorrow but only for one day and then another long weekend, I am going to take it hard when things get back to normal on Monday :)

I have spent a lot of today keeping the NSD thread up to date and obsessing over my spreadsheets. I'll have to learn to relax over them a bit and just take one day at a time. Unless I win the lottery nothing is going to drastically change :( and it would help if I actually put the lottery on :o
3 books I had on ebay didn't sell so I have just relisted them. I have 12 watchers and 1 bid on one of my items so I am hoping for a bidding war as it gets closer to the end of listing but at least I know it will definitely sell :)

I have an OU essay to finish this weekend, I should have done it today but I just couldn't seem to get my brain working. I'll take my books to work tomorrow and (as I am the only one in the office) will probably get it done and submitted then. Famous last words.

Have a lovely evening - whats left of it and I'll see you tomorrow. :)

    Good Morning :)

So far this morning I have checked my on-line banking now that the banks are back to normal, paid a bill and collected 50p by doing a survey. Not bad for 8.00am in the morning.
My bank account stands at £409 in the red :( but all the 1st of the month DDebits have come out and I have paid a bill, so definitely not as bad as it could be (or has been :o)
Ebay is looking good. I now have 15 watchers on 1 item (I'm now praying for a bidding war) 2 items will definitely sell and watchers on other various things I have on there. Again - all done in the dead of night ?????????

Back to work this morning and I've made my lunch and have a wee flask of milk so I can make my coffee. I will go straight to work and straight home again with no diversions and no money spent. Well that's the plan anyway. :o

Have a great day whatever you are doing :)

    Good Morning :)

Well yesterday went to plan :T
Straight to work, did my essay :o, straight home again. No money spent and no diversions taken :)

Bank account checked this morning and there is no change, although I think I did say it was £409dr when it it actually £403dr. Nearly did myself out of a precious 6 quid there :)

I had an email from someone about one of my items on ebay asking how much I would take for it and remove it from lisiting!!!! I didn't know you could do that??? I haven't emailed back but I am going to say no. There is someone on there who has had a bid on it since I put it on and I have 16 watchers on it. I think it is only fair to let the person who has bid on it have a chance and would feel guilty if I just took it off. Besides, I am still hoping for a bidding war. It ends tomorrow so I'll be waiting in anticipation until then :)

11 days to pay day (and counting). I cannot wait to be paid and to actually see my bank account in the black :T I am feeling so refreshed and motivated at the moment.

    Long may it continue :)

  • Hi Freeby,

Well done on the 2000th post :D:D:D

I agree with you about the ebay bidder, I'd feel inclined to do the same. x
