Hello  [STRIKE]stalked[/STRIKE] followed you from the NSD thread, hope you don't mind.
In three years I've sold three books on Green Metropolis  £3 per book and £2.20 to post. Somehow I don't think I'm going to make a fortune that way....
How many dogs do you have? Love animals! I have a horse and a cat both of which keep me out of pocket and on my toes most of the time.
Oh by the way, thought I'd subscribe too!

Okay so I thought I would wait until I put my 50p's into my bank account before updating my diary.
A combination of payments in and a DD paid out means my bank account is sitting at £360 in the red. That is the best it has been for year and years and years and..............well you get the picture.
I don't even have a scary bank teller phobia anymore :j I used to hate going in because I felt they were all judging me but now I can look them in the eye and think "look at me, I'm doing something about this mess" and to be fair to them they were lovely today
I am not sure what other MSE -y things I'll be doing today.
I have bought my new 50p savings tin at the bargain price of 59p instead of £1 in the £1 shop (??) and have put some in already I have sorted out the money for the window cleaner and the wheelie bin cleaner and have put them to one side and I have checked my ebay account. 5 watchers and 1 bid :j
I might put some more bits on today if I can be bothered to find them, take photos and list them
I mostly want to do housework today. I always like to start a new year with a clean and sparkley house. Not that it stays that way for very long
Oh and another day spending nothingThat's always a good thing

House vacuumed from top to bottom
Kitchen mopped, scrubbed and sanitised
All doggy stuff in the washing machineI hate washing the dogs towels and blankets etc. I always have to put a hot wash on after with bicarb in it after and I grudge having the machine on with nothing in it
Off to do the dreaded bathroom now :eek:Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
Ohhh you do make me chuckle freeby
I had a load of dog towels in yesterday - honestly I did wonder if they'd come out clean they were so bad .. but they did- I've also had to do a "clean the machine" wash before daring to put anything else in it!:(
Really, really need to hoover - Maisie is moulting ... badly - honestly, I thought Ben was bad but he had nothing on her! When she lies down & then gets up, there's an outline of her body where she's been lying ... it's coming out in clumps!:eek:
She's also terrified of the hoover poor lamb so try not to do it too often but ... might have to get the wire combed brush out and try to take the worst up that way....
Well done on the OD :T have a lovely NYGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Thanks BeanieLou and Freebyfifty for saying such nice things. the amount I can pay off by June just shows how much misc spending we have been doing.
Glad its not just me that is scared of the bank. In our bank I not only have the bank teller to worry about, the bank manager often wanders around the queue and starts chatting to you and sometimes asks if you want to make an appointment to discuss things. He is so creepy and when my OD is £3000 the last thing I want is a "little chat" in his office aaarrrrgh.
Nowadays if I have to go to the bank, (which is rare) I make sure there is no queue before I go in
Thats small village banks I guess. Bank manager is bored.
Happy new year to everyone0 -
Doggy towels are probably up there with horsey towels  Not easy on the nose... I'm afraid these days I cheat a bit on the animal washing and send it to a lady who specialises in washing such things. It costs me £1 for three towels to be washed and dried. Good value I think! The horse rugs cost a little more, unfortunately.
Well done on the sparkly house. It's lovely to see the New Year in with cleanliness and order.
I hope you have a happy new year and look forward to sharing your journey with you!

Morning Freeby ... same to you & yours
Funny how it's "doggy" (and probably "horsey" - winks at Piq) people who're up this early on NYD!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Morning Rising
I was out with my two at 5.30 this morning..........when I say out, I mean, in the back garden in my dressing gown clutching a cup of coffeeGood job it was dark
I hope everyone is well this morning. I haven't got much planned today. I will do a visit to all the important people in my life and share a wee drink with them but that's all. My dogs don't know it's New Years Day and so will need their usual routine.
A nice surprise this morning when I checked ebay, I have a bid on one of the more pricier items I have on there :T So now I know that two things will definitely sell and it will be a bit more to knock off the overdraft when I transfer it from my paypal account. One thing that alway puzzles me though, who are these people who do their bidding in the middle of the night? I never seem to get bids through the day (????)
Today is the last free listing dayand as I didn't do any yesterday I shall (hopefully) get some more bits on today. Then it will be the 99p stuff after that. I had forgotten ebay was so addictive.
Nothing much else to add. No change in the bank account as it is a bank holiday. Is anyone else looking forward to getting back to "normal". I go back to work on Thursday and am looking forward to getting back into my routine.
