    Well done you.
I sometimes worry about what I have in the cupboard and stuff in freezer that I now have no idea why I bought it

    Thank you Beanie :A

    Good Morning :)

I am scared to say it incase I jinx it  but I seem to have quite a good three days. I have not spent a penny :T
I worked out a workable budget  and included in that was a £10 a week 'in my purse' amount. So far that is still in tact. I did start off by thinking that I would leave my cards and purse at home and only take the tenner to work with me BUT the thought of being somewhere and not having access to any cash made me  Mostly because I have a 35 minute commute to work and since my car accident am a little bit terrified of driving in this weather. I had visions of me coming off the road or breaking down and not being able to call anyone to help me because I didn't have any money. I did have rescue before the accident but I haven't got it now - maybe it is something I should look in to.
So, I have taken my lunch and my kindle to work and have went out for a quick walk (and discovered a certain way which avoids the majority of the big stores :)) and come back to my desk with the cash still in one piece and my cards not boiling hot from over use. :)

I promise to be very good today again too, Long may it continue.

    Good Morning :)

It is snowing here again  Where the bloomin' heck is Spring

I have spent the last two mornings making myself a new plan :) which involved spreadsheets :j I do love a spreadsheet.
It is quite a ruthless plan but I realised that I was becoming a bit relaxed about all this debtfreewannabe stuff and just expecting it to happen by plodding along doing my usual thing.
So I have budgets and debt repayment spreadsheet right up until the beginning of 2017 - when - fingers crossed, I will be debt free and mortgage free :T It should be about 6 months before my fiftith birthday so at least my user name is still true :D
I know that life gets in the way and that it definitely does not go to plan so there is room for movement and adjustment but the debt repayments have to stay on track. I have to make that my priority.
I am back using my overdraft again, but only just, and through the year I will be in and out of it on a fairly regular basis BUT the overdraft (at the moment) is cheaper to service than some of my debts. So I am resigned to using it, just not at the level I was.

To start in the manner to which I would like to become accustomed - Ohhhhhhhhhhh how posh am I??
I made an overpayment of £100 yesterday to the highest interest debt. I think I will try to PAD some bits over through the week if I remember and I will watch that balance fall.:T I then went to Mr T and spent the grand sum of £11.14 on fresh stuff and then £43 on diesel  So this week it has cost more to feed the car than it has to feed us  Never mind, still well below the weekly budget and the surplus has been tucked into my "pots" account for an emergency. :)

I am feeling quite determined and motivated after my horrible slump earlier in the month. If only I could be as determined and motivated about the mountain of housework that I just can't be @r$3d doing :o

I have totally lost the plot moneywise :o - I know what you mean about lunchtime temptation .... popped into a rather nice boutique the other day :eek::eek: I hear you say ..... I did go in looking for a birthday pressie for Mum but ......bought (yet another) handbag (for me) - even with our 10% discount, it was very naughty of me:o

The card seems to have been out a lot this month - dreading getting the bill as there's already £180 on it from my new glasses ... that's before anything else:eek: I'm putting it down to not being well - I really just can't be bothered with much atm:o

Need to get back on track too!
