Good Morning
Okay so I have woken up this morning with renewed oomph
I have transferred my "spending" money from my main account into my "pots" account and that is all I intend to spend in March. By spending money I mean for groceries, diesel and any unbudgeted bills. There should be nothing apart from budgeted stuff to come out of my main account.
This is going to be my new way forward.
I shall then work on building up my "pots" account by not spending all my spending money and my main account will slowly build up too because I have more going in than going out.
As for my NSDs. As long as I spend my spending money and nothing else, it will be a NSD.
Well, it all makes sense in my head anyway
I was beginning to lose focus  and that will not do  so I am back on the "determined to do this" path again. I hope it lasts
Roll on March and another month closer to debt freeness :TFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -

Hello dear Diary
I have been neglecting you
I really need to get a grip on myself. I am spending so much more than I was at the beginning of the year and I don't know why  Well, I do know why........
I have needed everything just lately, I run my stocks down so low that building them back up again seems to have cost a fortune  I have been skating along skimming the top and just getting the bare minimum that suddenly everything needs replaced/renewed/restocked.
The beginning of the year is such a heavy time for me for birthdays. I seem to have spent many many lunch hours scouring the shops looking for gifts for other people and I haven't finished yet  As well as that I have had birthday parties/leaving parties/look at me I'm just fabulous parties that required taxi/train/drinks/food outlay
And changing my work place from the outskirts of the town to slap bang in the centre has not helped in the slightest  I have always liked to go a walk on my lunch and now instead of walking into the back of beyond I am walking round all the shops. M&S foodhall is just designed to make me throw my purse at them and scream 'take it all'
I have also listed nearly everything I can on ebay, have collected all my rewards from doing surveys and sent that many clothes to clothesfor cash that all that has dried up too.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr..................rant over.
I shall be back with a plan of action because this can't go on anymore. *puts on determined head and goes off to find notepad, pen and paper*Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
Well, I'm back......took me a bit longer than I thought it would but at least I am here.
I have been off work today and I have hatched my plan of action.
I have done a full and thorough inventory of my cupboards and freezer. It is quite shocking the amount of food I have in my cupboards, shocking and shamefulI did think about inputting the whole lot onto mysupermarket.com to see just exactly how much money is idling away in my cupboards but, I just couldn't face the shock and quite frankly, there aren't enough hours in the day
So I have a meal plan from now until about the end of April, I am determined to stick to it. The only things I want to buy are fresh milk, veg, fruit and bread.
Now I have to work on a daily/weekly/monthly budget.
That is my next missionFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150
