It went just fine Mind you I have just sat down after organising dinner and clearing up afterwards and doing all the other bits but I'll get used to it.

Dunno why I have put a smiley face, I am not a happy bunny
Bloomin' snow :eek: and lots bloomin' of it. I don't know if I will get to work this morning. I am certainly not setting off at my usual time of 8 o clock. You can't see out there at the moment, it is just a blizzard :eek:. I will have to dig myself out before I go anyway :eek: Will wait a while and see what happens but I might have to phone and ask for the day off. I have had a look at the traffic cameras for part of the journey and it looks bad. :eek:

I used to hate it when I worked and it snowed. There was always some misery who lived 30 miles away that made it into work, making everyone else who did'nt get in look bad ...Grrrr

Difficult when its a new job, hope all goes well.xx

Well I tried

The roads were like glass with the police convoying us along at 5 miles an hour :eek: When the traffic started to get too fast another police car would pull in front and stop everyone and then set off again at 5 miles an hour. I was stopped and tried to pull away and the wheels were just spinning. It was horrible :eek: Anyway, I turned round and came home again. I told my boss I would try again in an hour but it has just started to snow again so I might have to take a forced day off.:mad:

Ohhhh sounds awful

It snowed here sometime between 11:50 and 12:40! (Guess how I know that!!!!!) - and roads weren't great 1st thing.

By the time I left it was OK - really glad of the winter tyres now!

Well, I got to work on my second attempt Hope by forcing myself to get there while loads of others were off has earned me some brownie points
The snow is all gone but the roads are wet and the skies are clear tonight so it could be just as bad tomorrow morning again but with ice. Have told them to expect me when they see me.
