MY DH gets paid on the 15th every month too. It took a while to get used to at first but now I love it.0 -

I will get there though. Sheer determination will see me right
I think we are all a little bit like that in this forum. I know I certainly am. I think thats half the reason why I wished Christmas and New Year away because I wanted to get back in the swing of the budgeting etc.
I just can't wait to see us climbing out of our overdraft. To ACTUALLY have real my money left over at the end of the month and not just more money owed to the bank would be AMAZING.
Its great that we can give each other inspiration to keep going :beer:0 -

I'm the same Steph, we cleared ours last year when we did the consolidation but it's back up to where it was.0 -
To be out of the overdraft is my dream. To be able to call the money in the bank mine is my main aim for the next couple of months.
I've just had a shower and I was using up all the dregs of shampoo and conditioner that I've got lying in the bathroom cupboard and I big sense of determination came over me.Funny how the little things spur you on.
We can and will do this :T

But what I remember when trying to pay the debts off was looking forward to payday to get the debt down prior to LBM it would have been because I could only buy food or petrol on CC and dreaded yet another letter from school asking for a fiver for something. The feeling in control at last was a great thing

Thats the beauty of this website. You suddenly realise that you are NOT alone in this debt journey and that there are lots of people in the same situation.

Good Morning
Well it is that dreaded day after the holidays when everyone goes back to workI, for some reason best known to myself, am raring to go
That will last until about 5 minutes after I gety there.
Lunch is all made and I am back on the ww wagon so it is a ham salad and lots of fruit. Quick sneaky peak on my scales this morning showed a gain - surprise, surprise (but still within my goal weight) but I'll let you know after I have been weighed officially tomorrow night
The money from my ebay sales has gone into my bank account and I got my tax credits this morning too, so my overdraft now stands at £307dr.I know there is a dd to come out tomorrow so it will worse before it gets better this week.
Listed another few things on ebay last night so now I have 15 items on there. I have some watchers but no biddersNo matter, I'll just keep listing until they sell. I'm not in any hurry. Will be visiting the post office today with the parcels from the weekend. I will NOT be going anywhere else or buying anything. This is my pledge for today.
Have a great Monday everyone.Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -

Morning fifty,
Guess you have already gone to work, but hope you have a good day and the "raring to go" lasts.
I must find some more things to sell. I have the bad habit of thinks "Oh that won't sell for much" but every penny helps, especially if you auction off loads. I might go through some of my shoes and the odd outfit I have never worn.
Good luck on the scales. xxx0
