What were they thinking of???
Oh........BTW Mansion Polish is great for buffing up shoesThe quicker you fall behind, the longer you have to catch up...0 -
another use for baby wipes is as hand washing tissues when you are camping. One camp we went to was just a field with a standpipe at one end and a compost loo at the other so they were especially useful then

Our coffee maker has packed up after 15 years faithful service. Initially I thought I would buy a cafetiere but following on from a little lateral thinking I dug around in our cupboard and found an unused jug we had been bought as a present. I then invested 0.35p in a fine mesh tea strainer from Wilko and hey presto one perfectly adequate coffee maker although not as glam as the all singing all dancing machine in Argos it has to be said!!

when our cafetiere plunger thingy became too knackered to use anymore, the jug which had a strong plastic handle ,was ideal for heating up small amounts of treacle in the microwave for toffee.0

Couldn't find my foot lotion for my aching feet so used the eye gel I did have and found it works just as well, very soothing!
We use those net bags you get with the washing tablets to store things like cookie cutters, and corn on the cob holders in.Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

The big 6 pinter milk containers make great crayon storers, and have other uses, with handles too. Cut away a diagonal 'slice' from the side opposite the handle cutting away the opening. The crayons are easy to get to and you have a handy handle. They stand well next to each other so save space.
You can also use them cut in the same way as portable containers for warm soapy water to clean things. In a push you can make a scoop from the handle side. Don't forget when the crayon storer/water container/scoop is worn out you can then recycle it.

Oh! I wonder if I could use one to keep tubes of things like tomato puree in...?
Right! I'm off to rescue one from my recycling bin! Back in a few minures...
Edit: Sorry about the delay, I got side tracked. If you run out of shower gel, decant bath foam into the empty bottle and use it instead. Particulary handy if you get bought lots of bath foam but don't have baths. Also bath foam is about 1/2 the price of shower gel for some strange reason and the ingredients are exactly the same - know what I'll be buying in future!!!0
