More and more churches are requesting that guest do not throw confetti because of the mess it makes. Also the colour can come out of some brands on contact with, for example, a spot of rain on the bride's dress.
Rice is sometimes used as an alternative but this can kill wild birds as it swells inside them after eating it. Better still, use bird food.0 -
I use old electric toothbrush heads for cleaning hard to reach places in the kitchen (round taps, plug holes etc.). I won't mention the other potential double use for it!!! In either case make sure you don't mix it up with the one you use to clean your teeth :rotfl:0

You can buy dissolving confetti now that doesn't stain and washes away!

Loads of great Ideas in this - thanks!
Only one I can think of is using clear plastic drinks cup as personalised measuring cup. I have one with markings on for how much washing powder I need for full and half loads, and another with markings for 1 portion of rice, 1 portion of macaroni, 1 portion of fusili, etc - very useful if you're dieting and don't want to weigh out everytime, weigh once, pour into cup, then mark where it came to.(dont mix them though or youll get soapy rice!)

Aussielass when you move to Scotland the water restriction may not be so fierce- oil it is! As I have just moved from UK to Adelaide I am now also sticking with more conventional methods.
However: Double use for natural yoghurt is as a face mask, let it dry on a bit, rinse off with water, and your skin feels and looks much better afterwards.Three years, six months, three weeks, 13 hours, 48 minutes and 30 seconds. 26011 cigarettes not smoked, saving $11,704.80. Will try the natural yoghurt on my face one day too. Just have to make sure nobody eats it first.
Sounds good. How are you enjoying Adelaide. I've never been there but heard it's a lovely spot. Welcome to Australia.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -

First post from me!
I started using shaving oils a few years back but thought them too expensive. On seeing the price of baby oil i thought it worth a try.
I've been using it for about four years now and saved a fortune.0
