  • Also wanted to add that if i do pay off the last debt things will still be tight this month - i have bay of e fees to pay - hoping to get enough in in sales to cover that, i have the boiler that needs servicing and no budget for that and the credit card bill is higher than usual as i paid for some extra things on there to try and manage my money when i had to pay the huge car bill. It should be do-able i'm sortof just acknowledging that december will still be a very tight month

December is always an odd month with unexpected stuff cropping up! would it be best to hold off clearing that last bit of debt until December just to make sure you aren't debt free for a grand total of a week :o
    Must use my stash up!
  • Thanks Knit Witch :) That is something to consider. I have tried to cover all things in my budget and those things i've not got the money for yet i've pencilled in where the funds are expected to be received from. I have done all my xmas shopping although i am on the verge of getting my mum something else :o need to keep a tight rein on that really. The thing is though that i do already know that if something does crop up and i really need to use it i can use the december mortgage overpayment money - i'd rather not but it will be available if i need it x

  • Some more good news - i have an unexpected extra £20 in my budget :T Ok its not really available in my budget as it will just be paid towards the credit card bill but it is £20 less that i need to find now :D

5/8 of the way through a rough copy of assignment - it is tough going :o

Ok, on with the next bit aim to be 3/4 of the way there before i pop back on here - still pondering the money - and also pondering the extra christmas prezzie for my mum now too - with what money i don't know but it is a really good offer :o

  • Feeling frazzled :o So i am going to pop into the shower which will hopefully relax me a bit - but not too much  and i shall hopefully return feeling a bit more refreshed. I was really lucky to have a spare days holiday to get today off work but now feeling like i need the next 2 days as well in order to get the assignment done - must remind myself that i should aim for a pass - ie i want to achieve the best grade possible but need to be realistic about the time i have available right now and be happy with a pass but i want to do so well

    *positive vibes* please

  • Well it is less that the temptation was too much and more of a need to settle a busy brain. Debt has been paid off :T I have no money :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: But, i don't owe anyone anything other than the mortgage :D December will be tight but i have a list of what needs paying for and a plan as to how that will happen :)

  • Over 3/4 of the way there on a rough -ish draft. Next i am going to go through the assignment considering adding some bits from the next piece of paper i've scribbled all over. - basically not doing a section but a bit of a tweak and insertion of bits if needed  So this next bit will essentailly be done when i've finished with that piece of paper. Not sure what bit i'll work on then - the next section - will see, first off to get this done

I'll be honest, I haven't understood a blummin' word of your financial plans for this month and next, but they have clearly made sense to you and now you have become DEBT FREE (woo hoo!), I know that your savings will shoot up, your house will get repaired and your mortgage will come down incredibly quickly...all while you treat yourself to something pretty and/or sparkly every now and again. ;)
