Hi all, hope everyone is well? My listings finished the other day - if everything that had a watcher sold for the start price I,d have cleared nearly £400. I had a number of items with several watchers as well. In the end 5 things sold for less than £50 total and then there are the fees and the postage fees to take into account too. 1 item I sold on free delivery after someone asked me to list it in buy it now. They didn't buy it but someone else did for the lower auction price I had to put on:mad: no thoughts yet how to make up the shortfall on the bills. No time to list or even find new stuff to list and if its free listing this is the last time I'll relist this year as last year I had someone pay on the last posting day and had to rush around as they 'needed it for a present' far too stressful for a few pound. It'd be easier if I knew they'd pay straight away.
Still not got car fixed as no money for that as well as no money for anything else. Today I really felt like I'd be glad Xmas would be over in a few weeks not the way I want to feel so need to do something but again no time money right now. It'll be OK xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hi Dedicated. I've not had much Internet access hence being out of action a bit. The Ebay dituari I n kind of sucks, as does the car. Best of luck keepingon.xDebt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20

Morning all
Current priority is my assignment, after that priority is my exam and then after that will be the next assignment. It'll just about be december then and although i may attempt a bit of a declutter i won't have alot of time for this and it is taking time now as each time i 'declutter' now i am often choosing to part with things i'd rather keep but the need for the money has been greaterThis takes some mulling over so at the moment i have no easy wins on the listings. I did sell my jewellery - i sold though to a family member at vastly reduced cost less than a fifth of what i'd have made on the bay of e  They have helped me out though and could do with some helping out too so it was the right thing to do.
Been contacted about an item i was selling and offered less than half the amount i was asking for it  Will check what i paid for it first as again its something i'd like to keep but if it covers my inital cost on it i may sell it...
I've had another couple of NPB's added to the several i had last time.
At the moment i need to both not think about money as i need to focus on my assignment and also think about money to make sure the right amount is in the right place at the right time.
I'm going to have a quick read on here and then back to the assignment
*positive vibes* for the assignment pleaseCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Still struggling with internet! Other than that, not bad, thanks. Did some PT temping this week and I have a new car...old car was getting too old to sort out the repairs and I was looking like I would be in a situation like you are in. I feel bad saying that when you are struggling as I'm lucky to have had help when I needed it. However, I will pay it back so I will be lurking here for a lot longer! :rotfl:
Oh, I cracked the screen on my phone as well. It will cost a fair amount to repair.
Take care. xxxDebt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20

Hi DDFW
I haven't disappeared, just spending money which should be going on a house (if I ever buy one) and it didn't feel right to post here. I feel like I haven't made any progress in my life this year and particularly disappointed that the house purchase hasn't happened. Anyway, I have come to my senses. I need to save money for the house deposit even if the purchase will be next year rather than this and for some rainy day savings because my job situation is looking shaky.
Anyway, enough about me. I am worried about you. I do hope the assignment is going OK. There is only so much one person can do and maybe the debt needs to temporarily rise to get you over this difficult patch.
You seem to be in what I might call a structural problem in that there is little room for manoeuvre in your current situation. I appreciate there are short term issues to deal with first, studying, getting through Xmas etc. Hopefully if the economy strengthens next year, it will provide you with better job prospects and give you a break from money worries.
Take care xMortgage, draw down Sept 2014: £222,000
Now: £173,2290
