Sorry brizzled - it was a job interview for me - you didn't miss anything.(But it mostly seemed to go OK-ish, in case you were interested.)

Thank you all so much for the support I'll reply properly when I am on computer. Momentous decision made to wipe out savings and extra mortgage payment to throw at the car bill. Morning World
After a much better nights sleep - probably more to do with not having to go to work today - i am not feeling quite so much at the burst into tears stage
I am annoyed with so many different things about the car but can;t really go into it on here. It has not been fixed yet. The cost of repair is more than a months wage, which is more than i have in savings and the final total could well cost me as much as i paid for it in the first place :wall: Money that i don't have.
Today i'll try and plot out the 'known' things. The bills i do know that i have that are a definite amount and need to be paid somehow. When i get the next lot of figures in i'll work on that. and so on.
The problems with the car have thrown up alot of other things. I have been, and feel, very let down by a number of people this week. Not all of this is car related but when someone knows you're having a rubbish time with a big thing like that and they don't help you out with a tiny little thing then  I wonder why i put myself out and try and help out others so much sometimesBut at least now i know.
Yesterday i was on the verge of tears for most of the day. Both before and after making the decision to wipe out my savings and mortgage money - not an easy decision when redundancy is possible. This will not cover the cost of the car repair but as i was feeling under so a large amount of pressure to get the money together I felt this would at least alleviate some of that. So i have wiped out savings, mortgage money and still have a car that is not working - if you want any details i will PM you but don't want to make myself too identifiable to others that i know who read this.
I have had a wasted week with upset and worry and desperately trying to work out how to get the money together. I have learned about who i can rely on and who i shouldn't put myself out trying to help any more.
Thank you all for putting up with all of my moaning this week- i'd like to say it won't happen again but when the next bill comes in i won't be able to promise that :rotfl:

Oh hon, that sucks. Big time.
I don't know what to say to that. If the repair bill is so large is it worth repairing? Would it be worth considering buying a small runaround that's in decent condition to get you from A-B?

Hey everyone,
Just checking inOf course one of the major upsets this week was taking the debt into another year. It just felt never ending
And so i am going to push myself to clear the debt still by the end of the year. I imagine *alot* of listing going on. Everything else is cut back as far as possible so no room for further savings. Have a few items with watchers and have a few with bids too - hope they pay up - i've had a few NPB's of late which are very annoying.
Anywho's as i've (for the millionth time) listed all known bills, speculated on the unknown and done alot of back of postage stamp calculations i now need to get my assignment done :eek::eek:
*positive vibes* that i get this in on time and get a good mark please
Feel rotten to be so behind on it but as alot of people on here will understand i think - the money worries really just took over everything - i couldn't focus on anything elseThats why i needed a plan again - rather than have it constantly going round in my head - ok, enough procrastinating
off to do some work and will pop in on my breaks
Thank you all again for being so lovely and supportiveCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000
