Feeling a bit *eek* over using the money earmarked for the credit card bill but hopefully it will all come together as this will clear a chunk off the card this next month  Still not sure where the remaining amount will come from. May need some extra for the planned thing that may be cancelled but may not be...
Checking the bay of e  Need to leave it alone and let it do its thing. A few more bits to get on today that i didn't manage yesterday - couple of them worth more than 99p and hopeful of a sale or 2 or several :rotfl:
Weather is dreadful here - looks like i'll be getting very wet on my run
Going to wake up a bit first though i haven't been sleeping well at all and am full of aches and pains.
Washing is on so that feels slightly productive already and i've got a cuppa :coffee:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hi DDFW..haven't been on the run yet but I will!
Re bay of E..we are doing the same thing. It's gotta go if it's not useful or have been used in the last year...clothes, (new) toiletries, camping stuff...every little helps. I sold 2 old phones on the top site recommended on this site..got £40 I think so worth it, definitely.
Hope you feel perkier soon. The run should get those endorphins going!MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Money Post
As i am sure many of us on these boards do i have been pretty much constantly thinking about money this weekend - how can i get any extra money? / what is the exact amount i still owe? / what can i sell? ...
and also the 'what if' questions. Now after this week and next the 'what if's' should settle down. For now though *positive vibes* on the mot please - i really, really need my car to pass will find out by close of play tomorrow :eek::eek: There is also the 'what if' the special meal out comes to £x etc.
So, in an attempt to free up some head space to actually be able to think and focus on something else (assignment) which i desperately need to do!!! I am going to attempt to list all the known things i need to cover between now and the end of the year.
Detailing what the item is and what i have put aside for it and how i expect to make up the shortfall.
This will hopefully help clear my head a bit - and hopefully help me stop double checking the bay of e every 5 minutes
Oh yes, sold scrap of gold for next to nothing as predicted. Sentimental item they offered pittance for - i mean even what i was prepared to accept which i thought was pretty low was way higher than the offered amount so i came home with it
Right off to tot things up - wish me luck *gulp*CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Bah! Got caught up in other things! Determined today will be a productive one!
Hardly slept again last night - shortfall whittled down to a maximum of £567 to a minimum of £367 - thinking of the £360 i was chunking it into £30's whilst trying to get to sleep and thinking well i could sell this and that should be at least £30 - its a phone and i've done my researchThen it was - how will i get the next £30 in? What if unexpected things happen that throw these figures all out - MOT, special birthday
Breathe...
Best i can do is chunk it down into £30 amounts and a' la jwil get listing items to the value of £30 (start price totalled) per day or £210 - the more i have listed the more chance of sales... Couldn't help myself and checked bay of e and 1 new bidder - sadly it is their first bid ever so will see how that goes - we all had to start somewhere right? I will just not get too hopeful.
I totted up all the items with a watcher or a bid - if these sold for the start price that'd be £190 approx before feesBig shortfall.
Decided to list more jewellery items - not the one i took to the jewellers - and not because i don't think i'd get the price i have in mind for it - i just don't want the person who bought it for me to see itwhich they would
So i will list at least 1 £30 item later today
Must achieve 500 words on essay today - please nudge me if i need itCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
So decided on the 1 item earlier £30 and have just about decided to sell another item £40 - these will be the starting prices or buy it now - hope they sell - will pop on this evening by which time i may have made a decision on something else as well. - so thats £70 listed towards the £210 target for the week xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000

I may well need to decide on a lot more items to sell. There is a strong possibility that I will be carless from today
don't know yet if the necessary things to make my car roadworthy can be done. If they can be is the cost more than the actual value of the car?
:(:( very upset. Am going for a lie down and hope to get up feeling better than I do right now x

Oh dear
I hope you get something sorted - when my car needed enough doing to it so that it would cost more than the car itself, I sold it to we buy any car. Good luck with the sales

That being said, we have another car, so we went down to a 1 car household, which works for us. I need the car to get to work and DH has a bike he uses to get to his.
Could you manage without a car? Even as a short term solution maybe? Have you listed your things on the bay of e?Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
