I'll join you in the feeling bleurgh camp :)

It would be so fab if you and brizzle are both df by new year, does that mean you'll all run off and leave me

I think you should do as you plan with the courses, get the easy one out of the way, then you've only got to focus on the harder ones.

Good luck with the job app :)

You're on. I will do 3 or so miles too:)

Report back at the end of the weekend?!!

Hope you're well..any news on the job apps?

Ahh! Found this tucked away on the last page :o - Yes the run is definitely on - my body needs it. That bizarre thing of being exhausted, achey and sore and a run will make me use my body and muscles (feeble though they be)

And yes i will report in to confirm that i did it - and 'fess up if i had to walk part of it too :o but i'm gonna really try - i may even not have a drink the night before in preparation :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Thanks on the app front too - will work on getting 1 of criteria bits looking fab ready for the next vacancy

  • Morning all! (just ) I had a huge sleep  so am very behind on the day already - but - my migraine has finally lifted :T Thank goodness! I guess had i been up early and still suffering i wouldn't have been much use for getting on with stuff anyways

Today i hope to get some listings done from everything i prepared earlier this week - will try and see if there is anything else that i missed too ;)

Meant to say i overspent on shopping this week  by 50% Going through the receipt though there wasn't much i could have left except a 99p packet of biscuits. I bought a bottle of something lovely for over xmas - best part of £10 but less than half price and got a freebie with it too - i would've bought it much nearer to chrimble but have never seen it this cheap so think that justifies it ;) I also spent £5 on burgers and lamb for the freezer - super bargains from being in right place at right time for once :T so again unbudgetted but unavoidable, toiletries bought on offer so again stocked up pretty much explains that all away.

So lots to crack on with and i'll report back later :D

Breakfast had, bit of 'easy study' done and just had a look in wardrobe to see if there's anything else i can sell... decided no - i've got rid of quite a bit recently so am looking at the same stuff i decided to keep. Just decided though i might put a coat on, with tags on but priced to at least get my money back - it was massively reduced so was a bargain for me or whoever bids on it but if it doesnt sell i am very happy to keep it too :) - really just need the money now.

Feeling a bit meh as my finances are stopping us being able to get stuff done on the house etc.. :(

Decided to sell some bits of jewellery - have a little teeny tiny bit of gold to weigh in as well probably fetch £1 or £2 - its tiny!! - any suggestion on best place as i was going to pop to jewellers in town?

I have 2 very old mobile phones to sell as well - really i should have 3 to sell but need to see price on 3rd one - anyone know if they clear all data off them - i don't have chargers any more for 2 of them so thats whats been putting me off :o - Any suggestions on places to sell to?

Now back to a bit more study after a quick read on here x

Other piece of jewellery located but it has stones in it - do they remove them? Not sure how to go about that one - still pointless keeping something unused and unloved

1 phone i need to box up and take it into the selling shop place so will sort that ready for this week.

Decided on another jewellery item to part with - it has stones in but 1 missing :( - will need to see if the jewellers will buy this and i guess if not how much it would be to get the stone replaced and then sell it. Was the first ever 'proper' piece of jewellery i bought *sigh*

Bit frustrated as i guess after such a big clear out last week and over many weeks there is not a 'haul' of stuff i can get rid of. I am scrabbling around for odd little bits and pieces and selling some things i would like to keep. It will be worth it! - i just need to keep reminding myself of that

Selected another item to sell - depending on if i get the price i have in mind for it - a bit :( as a bit of me feels i shouldnt sell it (sentimental reasons) but i am trying to be sensible and what is the use of something sat in a drawer ?

Going to hopefully get the stuff onto the bay of e that i sorted out this week now. Behind on assignment but an upset stomach isn't letting me settle or focus :(

Added to that is the money issues - everything difficult right now - we've been planning to do something for over a year and now it seems we won't do it - even though we really want to and have the money for it - because there are other things we could use that money on. Its the sensible choice but i (possibly we) am feeling disappointed by this. Even more so when you consider the money used for the necessary isn't enough by a long way and feel we could be sat here in the same position in a years time :( Certainly pushed me a bit more into trying to flog stuff - given some stuff to carboot and hoping will sell so get coffers in for this tomorrow *fingers crossed* and then the decision to sell the special gift..

  • Half made the decision to use the money next months credit card bill to pay towards the overdraft. This would mean I'd have to sell enough to pay this same amount off the credit card bill next month. Bit of a challenge then
