Well, 'TCP/Smart Parking' after noting the points i made in my appeal have cancelled my ticket.
Which is strange, as i didn't raise any points.
I did however ask them to provide me with all relevant evidence confirming their right to charge and a VAT number invoice.

On the plus side the did provide a useful piece of information that is on its way to Mike Butler.

    Email finished with
    Yours sincerely
    Town and City Parking Ltd

You couldn't make it up. :rotfl:

Hi...i've just received a first demand for parking over stay charge from TCP today!

I have emailed the Asda CEO to sort it out this evening.
Shall i send something back to TCP as i'm disputing charge because my car wouldn't start!! Only 30 minutes over!

Any chance you can post a copy of the letter you sent, leading them to cancel your charge, with relevant right to charge and vat etc.

    Any other advice appreciated
    Thanks

Don't expect a reply back from Asda, it will NOT get to the CEO and i doubt very much you have the correct email address.

Regarding TCP, does their letter clearly state TCP and not Smart Parking LTD???

The best way normally to deal with these clowns is to just ignore them totally.
I've followed up on them for a reason, well, several actually.
  • Hi

The full letter, both sides would be better, suitably edited of personal details of course.
You might want to post it up over on Pepipoo

From your description the letter puts Smart Parking Ltd on the naughty step.
  • Don't know how to upload the pics!!
It keeps saying, as a new user i can't put links etc!

As a newbie you should just post a broken link (in other words just remove the http bit from the front and we can then convert it).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

    Thats a good idea!

There you go...just add the http before the :

Also wondering whether i need to reply to them just once, incase they want to head to the courts eventually.
Don't want the judge to assume i did not even put my case forward to the company before the issue was propelled by them!

....or shall i wait for the reply from the CEO?

    ...decisions, decisions...help!!
