Aren't TCP changing their name to Smarter something anyway?
Smart Parking Ltd - as of 3/12/12

But lurking in the background is Smart Parking (UK) Ltd (registered 4/12/12/)
    Reg No: SC413479

Now, SC413479 just happens to be the Reg No Smart Parking Ltd claim to be running under, according to their website.

    Update.
    Train in motion with Asda.

Which way is the train going?

If TCP are ASDAs agents then would ASDA be responsable for the actions of TCP?

will something come of this, or will it just be a £10 shopping voucher type appology?

Let's just say that this is the express line and goes the quickest, most direct route. ;)
    Not asking for an apology.

You would hope someone high up in Asda whom deals with contracts notices that a new company has taken over one of it's contracts without informing it, and so cancels the contract on the grounds that it was a contract between it and TCP and not "smarter" parking.

Yes off course you can apply to get your contract back, we will deal with you after we sort the contract out to whom will water the grass at the such-and-such store. :rotfl:

Unlikely though, but one can wish.

Knowing how things are, ASDA will probably roll pover and sign a nice shiny new contract with this new company to manage thier car parks.
In an ideal world ASDA will get their backsides well and truly kicked and will ave to re-fund anyone who has paid their contractoros in error.

And thats it for me for this year - happy new year.

Ah, now the new TCP wont be an AoS member, will they..............so thats a naughty DVLA access.

Does this mean one company WITH access has divulged confidential info to a third party WITHOUT authorised access. This is a serious matter for both parties...... and dear old Information Commissioner.

Bet it's not as simple as that.........

Not really Asda's fault. The contract Asda signed is probably still valid, or would have been. The behaviour of the scammers may have changed that position though.
