    Hello everyone,

first time posting in this thread - fairy suggested it months ago but I've been having a hard time lately, mostly with SAD that hasn't gone away, thanks to the weather.

I've got exactly a million and one things I want to achieve, but I'm going to set myself 5 steps to complete tonight. I think I might aim for 5 per day.

Parcel up my eBay parcels (4 at the moment)
    Sign my tribunal settlement agreement
Collect notebooks together (I like a notebook for money, a notebook for my blog, a notebook for "ideas and lists") to bring to work
Tidy my eBay room ready for photographs for a blog post
    Take eBay room photos.
    I like to make money

My daily 5 idea also comes from Robin in his book The Leader who had no title. I would defo recommend this book for its positive message.

I will attempt the 5am idea :o Failed this morning having only just got up!

    Today's Tasks
    1. Reply to Solihull Housing, requesting a face-to-face
    2. Create an A3 Life Planner
    3. Create (or rather source material for) my 'Enlarge your penis' joke kit product
    4. Upload audio book covers to my Audio Book Companion facebook page
    5. Clean another hard-drive
    6. Clean flat during 5.
    7. Find some newer Android games for Mum.
    8. Review this list at mid-day :rotfl:

  • I have to be honest and say I didn't get up at 5am today either. I was at the school Award ceremony last night and it was fantastic. So many talented young people in the school and I was delighted to see one of the boys from my Higher Chemistry class awarded dux. It is well deserved for all his hard work.

Later night than usual and I made the decision to have a 'lie in' and get up at 6am!

I have no Daily 5 planned for today but I am focussing on getting my classroom cleared and set up for next term, taking bits and bobs of work home with me for the holdays and geting orgainsed for my family visiting this evening.

Setting myself a new challange for tomorrow...

To create a business card marketing campaign before midday tomorrow.

It doesn't even matter if I fail - This challenge is more about getting something started - procrastination is my biggest hurdle lately.

    Hello,

X-stitch is not going to be finished in time. I only managed to finish his arms last night. SO have popped to The Range and bought some bits to make him a different card.

    Tasks for tonight:
    - make Hubby's card
    - pack for weekend away
    - check kitty for fleas before he goes to grandma's tomorrow morning
    - nectar ads

Sir Pac, you certainly sound very positive, do you feel like you're making progress?

Thanks for asking. Yes I do. Although it hardly feels noticeable because I'm making tiny steps in multiple ways, rather than being able to concentrate on one thing at a time, and see it through to completion.

It has always been a problem of mine, and one I've yet to beat :o

Sorry to hear you didn't get to complete your X-stitch in time, frustrating I know.

I don't understand how I can have so much free time, and still procrastinate over certain tasks.

I hope you enjoy your weekend :-)
