Paul, I do feel bad for Hubby as I've spent the past few week nights saying "stay downstairs, I've got birthday surprises to sort" and he's ben wasting time away on the PS3.

    Keep positive, Sir Pac x

Where has the morning gone! I'm going to relax for another 30 minutes then.....

    Jobs today...

    POSITIVE STEPPERS ACTION PLAN (12-1pm)

    1. Add some more content to Positive Steppers eBook

    2. Add some content to Facebook fan page

    3. Find co-creators:
If anyone reading this would like to help co-create the Positive Steppers Action Plan, I would invite you to contact me, and we could talk more either via email or via the facebook fanpage I've created.

    MY ABODE (2-3pm)

    1. Wipe down chalk wall (Thankfully, this time, my little monster, only wrote on the chalk wall, and not on the other walls, floor, sofa, blar blar blar)

    2. Box everything...I have taken the decision to box everything - the flat is just as mass of clutter, and all I've been doing is move clutter around from room to room.

    MY BUSINESS ASPIRATIONS

    1. Shelve the magazine for a few weeks. I need to work out where I can take the magazine, and even if its possible considering time and money constraints.

    2. Positive Steppers
To start drawing up marketing plans, perhaps involving business card marketing from vista-print.

    3. Marketing Challenge
This is working well, with my eBay buyers keeping in touch after the sale, wwhich is nice - I plan to expand on this, and will create an action plan later today.

    OTHER JOBS

    1. Shopping ( I'm out of coffee :-/ )

    2. Make all the phone calls I've been putting off (Soliull Housing)

    3. Test printers - One of my new products requires me to design new packaging :-( Nightmare

    4. Come back to list later

    Bye

    Paul

    Calling all Positive Steppers:

I want to hear how you're treating yourself for completing your goals. I'm off to Greggs for a (couple of) Chocolate Eclair

Just got back from shopping, and forgot my treats :-/

    I shouldn't laugh but...:rotfl:

Well, as most of my tasks usually revolve around keeping my house tidy or keeping myself organised my main reward is that I feel calmer and more relaxed when I sit down in an evening. Sounds a bit lame now I've typed it :o

Yes it does, :rotfl:you need to treat yourself properly for a good days work!

I just walked into the 'put everything in here for now' room ready to do battle, and walked straight back out again - tomorrow seems like as good a day as any to tackle THAT room ! Gulp!!!!

So I have ticked most things off my list...
    Left to do are:
    • New music mix
    • add up bank charges since 2010
    • email about bollywood class
    • email Laura about meeting
    • send receipt to brownie group
    • email Jhoom ladies about midnight walk
    • write workshop descriptions for Alex
    • email about Mela involvement
    And some new ones..
    • Pack for trip
    • Go through ALL c.card statements and shred old ones apart from PPI claim ones
    • DIY jobs around the house
    • check train times to come home from trip
    • book trains to manchester
    • Do some weeding
    And some rollies..
    • Call 3
    • Call Bcard about PPI
    Lots to get one with....PHEW!

Hahah thanks Fairy I was but I seem to have ground to a halt at the moment. if I'm honest everything is getting on top of me. I've FINALLY had PPI refund confirmation but it is not as much as I was first promised :( it is the right amount and a fair amount but they told me last year I was getting 6 times the amount I have been given....sigh......never mind.

Also HSB* are REALLY taking the pee pee, I have had to declare myself in finacial hardship because they took SO much in bank charges this month it wiped out the pay from one of my jobs and I couldn't afford my rent let alone other bills. I am going to be contesting these charges as Martin says they can't do it if they are constantly pushing you deeper into debt...but I have to say that I have been putting it off because I know it will be long and arduous. Needs must however and if I manage to get any if niot all back I will be in a much better position, and able to pay off some of my overdraft finally.

Hahaha Hi Paul, hows things? I've got to say I love your magazine, it must have taken you ages!!! I can't really think ofn anything you are doing wrong..perhaps you can personalise the features a bit more so that they are promoting local businesses if that is the aim of the mag. If you google 'the crack magazine', this is the local free mag for Newcastle, it has a huge circulation and does very well, also 'the ocelot' for wiltshire, my fiances 2nd cousin runs this mag and it is also highly successful, maybe that will help?

I need to do a new list, but finding even that hard at the moment :(
Money troubles and the fact I am doing some scary things this week to challenge myself and my business are making me very anxious and stressed. it will be good for me though. And I start my lovely new part time job on Monday, I can't wait!! It is also much better money than I was earning before...which will help me in a few months get back on my feet.

Aw Suzi, you are doing so much atm its no wonder you are struggling a bit! How about giving yourself 1 or 2 things to do off your list each day? or do one of those things you are dreading - i have always found doing these frees me up somehow :) if it helps when i contacted bank about fees it took them 2 days to sort it :) its not like the PPI thing ;)

Re the challenging yourself thing.......i love challenging myself and yes it is usually good for you BUT you are starting a new job which is already a challenge even if you are looking forward to it - i'd suggest being a bit easier on yourself - big hugs xxxxx
