It gives me that hour before having to get ready for work to set myself up for the day. I had stopped doing it regularly as I have been so tired but looks like I am getting my mojo back!
Inspirational - Thanks Allie
I think I might set my alarm for an hour earlier, so I can get a free hour to plan my day (and hopefully include a few exercises)Always interested in networking with small business owners with regard to marketing opportunities...0 -

Thanks Sir Pac. I am a big fan of Robin Sharma and he encourages people to become members of the 5am club. Over the years my activities have varied but usually include some exercise, planning my day/week, reviewing goals, reviewing finances, prayer, gratitude lists and even housework - not all on the same day though!! I always feel better when I have this extra hour on my day. I will try to find a link to a recent video by Robin Sharma where he talks about this.0 -

Can't find the link to a specific video talking about the 5am club - there was one recently but I can't find it. The above is a link to a series of 6 videos Robin sent out when he was promoting a new programme.
My daily 5 idea also comes from Robin in his book The Leader who had no title. I would defo recommend this book for its positive message.0 -

Morning all,
Fairy, I'm with you on the 10lbs in 5wks challenge. Knowing my luck though I'll probably put on 10lbs not lose it :rotfl:
Sir Pac, someone once told me a tidy workspace equals a tidy mind. I wonder what a dirty workspace means?;)
Allie, I get up a lot earlier than I need to, mainly to do housework so I can relax in the evening and so I can ready at a leisurely pace rather than starting the day off in a mad rush.
It is Hubby's birthday a week on Thursday so tonight's job is to xstitch as much as possible as he's out tonight as this is my last chance to work on it. I think footballing teddy is drfinitely going to be legless0 -
"The Devil finds work for idle hands", or so the old saying goes...
With my laptop beaving away moving files from one hard-drive to another (pretty much useless for multi-tasking when it's doing this), and no TV to occupy thoughts, my mind started looking for things to do around the flat. when I noticed that my 'Dennis-the-menis' inspired grandson, Rowan, had scribbled all over a living room wall. (Well I say all-over, he's a toddler so couldn't reach higher than 3ft).
Leaping (crawling more like) into action, off to Wilko's. £10 lighter I returned with a tin of Quick Dry Blackboard Paint Matt Black, rollers, and a box of coloured chalk.
An hour later, one black wall, ready for the little tike to draw on, and on, and on.
