I have two lofty challenges to accomplish.

    1. I'd like to go from unemployed to self-employed.

    2. Win the heart of my wife back :-(

    :-)

Steps taken today towards achieving challenge no.1

Sold my iPod Touch to buy Ink/Paper/CD supplies (I'll miss the iPod :o )

Investigating Credit Union as a form of saving for equipment required for my business challenge, http://www.nbccu.org.uk/

Steps taken today towards achieving challenge no.2

I started creating an eBook titled 'The Things I didn't Do', the book idea came about when I looked back over our relationship, and listed the things I should have done for her, but didn't.

Great first steps Sir Pac :) sorry to hear about the ipod but hopefully when you get back on track you will be able to get another :)

I like the idea of the ebook :) its always good to review these things and from a female perspective i would certainly consider that as a positive if i was in ur wife's shoes :) - do you mind if i ask you if you are still together but things aren't going well or if you have separated? I'm just wondering about the level of communication you have at the minute, have you spoke about the problems from her perspective for example or is it possible for you both to talk about this? do feel free to say you don't want to discuss it etc :)

My day will be spent doing some more tidying in the house - it has got completely out of control with bringing more boxes from my old house. I have been getting bits done but hopefully today i will finish cleaning up downstairs.

The small steps for this are:

    wash dishes - done :)
    clear kitchen table -done :)
    clean worktops - done :)
clear coffee table - done :)
    clear sofa - done :)
    hoover
    sort the remaining few boxes

also i want to work on my finances by completing:

    one poll - done :)
    swaggers - done :)
    app trailers
    maximiles
    check ebay - done :)

    interests stuff to do:

read some of my book - done :)
    blog updates - done :)
write some of my book - done :)

ooh, what's your book about, Fairy?

I've just started a blog to chart the life of new kitty Harley just bacause, like kids, they grow up so quickly and you think " were they really that tiny? did they used to be playful? was it all my imagination?"

No real plans to do much this weekend though I need to do some nectar ads/swagbucking and generally just relax this weekend.

Lost 1lb this week but still 1lb heavier than my lowest weight, grr!

    Have a good weekend xx

I have no problems talking about my situation, fairyclicks :D

We live seperately (we live close enough that we could if the fancy took us, wave to one another, being only two blocks apart :o, and I initiate all contact. Our level of communication is minmum, her choice (I believe she's walled off her heart for fear of getting hurt).

We play Words with Friends daily, and she responds to my text/chat, but not on a romantic level.

My promise to her, to Love, Protect & Provide for her...The last one being the most problematic :( Should I solve that, then :D

Please spill the beans about your book :-)

    5) Go to The Range for some card blanks as I've only a couple left done :):)

I didn't know The Range did black cards, if I had I might have investigated when I was there yesterday :-(

Any idea if they have 6" x 6" card stock?

    :T

The Range have quite a range of crafting/art materials, I buy quite a bit there. They do a range of blank cards, and 6"x6" crafting/scrapbooking paper so I'm sure they would. Have a look at their website, that should tell you.

Can I join in this challenge?

    1. I'd like to go from unemployed to self-employed.

    2. Win the heart of my wife back :-(

6 months should be enough time to accomplish at least one of these :-)

Welcome SirPac and good luck with everything you wish to achieve. i went self-employed 2 years ago and have never looked back! If I can help in any way i would be glad to. Same goes for no.2 so feel free to run anything by us ladies :D

:o Didn't even occur to me to see if they had a web site, I'll head on over (slinks away, rather red-faced)

    :-)

He shoots, he scores! Well sort of...

I believe I've found the cards I want, but at twice the price I used to get them from The Works (City Centre). Maybe the manager is up for a little bartering :-)

I think the Works have a website you can order from, may be worth a nosey...
