Saterday was Spaghetti Carbonara and some chocolate cake I'd baked in the afternoon.
Sunday will be something with fish as my DD is working and hates fish. maybe make a light batter and cut it into strips and fry and have with chips and peas and tartare sauce.
Monday is Veggie shepherds Pie ( already made yesterday:j)
Tuesday is Pasta bake which I will make up today
Weds not sure as I am out with friends
Thursday could be chicken jalfrezi (with Quorn pieces) and leftover curry paste from fridge and rice. I think I have some mini naans in the cupboard too.
Friday maybe try to make something with mince and some pastry I have in freezer, not sure yet!!!

I actually had OH help me with ideas for the meal plan this week so that's a victory :T Most of the meat was already in the freezer but I only spent £35 in A!di stocking up for this week + some store cupboard items so another victory :T. I did then go and spend £15 in sainsbobs but this was for some cleaning products and store cupboard stuff that A!di didn't have so doesn't count as a meal expense for the week. Still annoyed that I spent £15 in there though . So here's the meal plan for this week...

Sun - Chicken & chorizo tray bake
    Mon - Curry
    Tue - HM doner kebabs
Wed - Sausage, egg, chips & beans
    Thur - Ranch pasties
    Fri - Stir Fry
    Sat - Moussaka

Just realised I've got 2 lamb-mince based meals and I'm not sure if I've got two packs - might have double counted! Still, I'll be back at the SMs next Sat for next weeks grub so I can always top up then.

    sunday - apple tart
monday - gammon mash and veg
tuesday - sausages and mustard mash
    wednesday- ham and leek pie
    thursday - meatloaf

extras - flap jack and syrup cake
I'm trying so hard to be thrifty, but it doesn't come naturally. You lot are an inspiration!
