When I met my hubby there were so many veg that he wouldn't eat, cabbage, cauliflower, onions (will now eat diced in curries or chinese type meals but not big bits).

When one of his friends and I wanted a chinese when we were just going out with each other he made us hold it outside the car so he didn't have to smell it on the way home (He eats chinese and Indian now bless him but I love telling that story!):rotfl:

    Morning all.
When me and dh were moving in together i parted with his mom telling me "dont bother giving him salad, he dont like it" oh ok no problem. Well 12 months down the line he said one day "can we have some salad for tea" i said but you dont like it? "yes i do" he eats more of a salad that i do :rotfl::rotfl:
He also never use to eat garlic etc, one day i cooked garlic bread, he ran all round the flat that we lived in at that time and opened all the windows telling me i was disgusting lol. So i waited till he was drunk gave him some garlic bread and he will eat a little bit now, but he is still a very plain and boring with what he eats.

  • Good afternoon to all,

Belated christmas greetings to everyone. Been a poorly household over christmas, but finally think we are getting over it.
Hope everyone had a great day.
Hugs to all that need them.
Just a reminder ventured to Mr T's lastnight for essential supplies and while there it was reduction time and the party food multibuy is still coming off the reduced prices. Bought 4 packs of the potatoe skins at 75p each instead of £3.00 apack  got to checkout and £4.00 was taken off, so free and £1.00 off my shopping.
    Wet and gloomy down south.

All my lenors are gone. I have so much Lenor and comfort stashed away I don't think I will ever need to buy any ever again :D

But the next set of good mocs I will do :j

I was thinking that, after I used my final car mocs today I won't be "buying" any more laundry detergent, softener, stain remover or fabreze for a good while!!:D

In fact my New Years resolution is to not "buy " any for 2013!!!:):rotfl::rotfl:

Need to ring a charity to come and pick up surplus wooden furniture but not until I've it all in the hall ready to go.

Hope you have more luck than we did. A couple of weeks before Christmas we replaced a few bits of living room furniture for my parents. The stuff we were getting rid of was all in good condition but just not to their taste anymore.

We called numerous charities but they were all so fussy. They would only take solid pine furniture not oak. They wouldn't take a fireside chair because it was blue. Because a drop leaf table didn't have matching chairs they weren't interested. The list went on. It was like they were doing me a favour and I was causing them an inconvenience.

After a few calls I decided to put it on freecyle. As usual the majority of people who said they wanted stuff didn't show up. After a few days I just took an axe to it all and used it as fire wood.
