When you sell an item on ebay a buyer can complain to ebay that they haven't received the item. Paypal will then just take the full amount including p+p from your account without telling you first. You cannot dispute this with paypal unless you have a tracking number which you only get if sent recorded or registered.
Ebay still have the case open and I'm waiting for the buyers response as the item was posted 2nd class and I have a certificate of posting. This doesn't change the fact that paypal have already taken my money though.
Moral of story: Send all expensive items recorded from now on.
Hope it has just been delayed in the post because of Christmas.0 -
Afternoon:)
Isn't the weather awful:( I managed a walk on the beach this morning before the rain descended.
had to go and pick something up from Argos earlier. Nipped into superdrug and got a few cheap bits...nothing to get excited about. I was going to go to As and look for cheap biscuits and stuff, but I stopped myself. I spent a big chunk of yesterday trying to sort out the biscuits and chocs I already have. Enough is enough:o
Hope everyone is well. QPR I hope you are feeling better today x0 -
Tesco Hi Val,
We've just this minute had updated information from our marketing team, who have told us that we will now be accepting these vouchers.
Sorry for any confusion caused!

Has anyone else seen the £5 Andrex coupons on Ebay?
They say they are high quality internet downloadable coupons, but they look identical to the ones they sent me when I made a complaint.
I think they have just photocopied an original coupon, and they have sold hundreds.
No wonder we are having trouble getting genuine internet coupons accepted in our stores.
I haven't used an internet coupon in my A's since I was refused 1 ww and 1 reloaded coupon in November.0 -

Sorry to say no. Mine was refused last Monday, and when I queried it I was told they stopped taking them the day before:mad:
EDIT. saying that, T's are so fickle and disorganised it could be that another store may take them still. Probably depends on if it's Wednesday, the manager had a good lunch break, the CSA woke up late and is peed off, the sky is purple etc etc, you get the drift:D:D

Good morning all, just caught up. QPR10, so sorry for your loss, sending hugs.
Nikkilala, happy anniverary to you and your DH.
I'm off for a browse round the shops with DH today, and may treat us to a nice lunch somewhere.
I managed to get a big whole Gressingham duck really cheap in S last night. Does anyone have any good recipes for duck? DH pulled a face when I told him I'd bought it, so need something tasty to encourage him to try it. His mum was 'a plain cook'
Pleased to hear you survived the nights, hope you weren't too busy! We didn't go away, just aswell as I've had a seriously bad cough, just starting to feel a bit better today,
When I cook duck I hand mash raspberries or blackberries, smother over the duck and cook like a chicken but not for as long as I like it a bit pink. Make sure you leave it for 20 mins before carving as it will be more tender.
Thinking of you QPR10.0 -
Morning all:A
QPR so sorry to hear about your friend.:A
I haven't posted about the dolphins for a little while as it was so bad. So many dolphins and whales slaughtered, I didn't want to upset anyone.
I have had a headache from hell for 4 days now:eek: Thought I might be coming down with something but just can't shake it. Didn't sleep too well last night so I think I will try to have a nap this aft.
Happy Birthday Lala have a great day.
You've probably heard all this from various people, but just in case, I used to get awful headaches, all I could do was go to bed, then someone suggested it could be down to my sinuses (in spite of the fact it did not feel like it). The next time I tried some industrial strength decongestant tablets and they worked! Many of those tablets, then a lot of steaming, now the occasional far weaker decongestant, later I can honestly say I no longer get the horrific headaches I did!
Apologies if you have already tried that, I have tried to keep up with peops on here but it has not necessarily happened:o
