T's have just posted on their fb page that they will not accept £5 off £40 spend @ Morrisons which should appear in Sun tomorrow:(
Manners, morning folks - need a nice glitch to brighten up this wet grey day - otherwise I will have to resort to housework:rotfl:0 -

When one of his friends and I wanted a chinese when we were just going out with each other he made us hold it outside the car so he didn't have to smell it on the way home (He eats chinese and Indian now bless him but I love telling that story!):rotfl:
Sounds like my dad, mam used to say to him "would you like egg and chips for dinner or would you prefer something plain?"
He never ate curries/pasta/pizza (Cheese on toast was his words) Give him his sunday roasts and he was happy0 -
Thanks for the reminders patty.
Morning all,
Has anyone used the glamour cards succesfully on sale items?
I know it could not be used in conjuction with offers well that is what the SA told me but she was not sure about sale. And I had forgotten to take my card to try.Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.0 -
Hope you have more luck than we did. A couple of weeks before Christmas we replaced a few bits of living room furniture for my parents. The stuff we were getting rid of was all in good condition but just not to their taste anymore.
We called numerous charities but they were all so fussy. They would only take solid pine furniture not oak. They wouldn't take a fireside chair because it was blue. Because a drop leaf table didn't have matching chairs they weren't interested. The list went on. It was like they were doing me a favour and I was causing them an inconvenience.
After a few calls I decided to put it on freecyle. As usual the majority of people who said they wanted stuff didn't show up. After a few days I just took an axe to it all and used it as fire wood.
How awful. I bet there are people about who could have really made use of these.
It could depend on where you live. They seem to take most furniture here where I live.0 -

Not got a 1960's beige and green 24 inch stripy table lamp by any chance? Lmao :rotfl:SIMPLES!0 -
A warning that I wish someone had given me earlier:
When you sell an item on ebay a buyer can complain to ebay that they haven't received the item. Paypal will then just take the full amount including p+p from your account without telling you first. You cannot dispute this with paypal unless you have a tracking number which you only get if sent recorded or registered.
Ebay still have the case open and I'm waiting for the buyers response as the item was posted 2nd class and I have a certificate of posting. This doesn't change the fact that paypal have already taken my money though.
Moral of story: Send all expensive items recorded from now on.0 -
