Good morning all, just caught up. QPR10, so sorry for your loss, sending hugs.
Nikkilala, happy anniverary to you and your DH.
I'm off for a browse round the shops with DH today, and may treat us to a nice lunch somewhere.
I managed to get a big whole Gressingham duck really cheap in S last night. Does anyone have any good recipes for duck? DH pulled a face when I told him I'd bought it, so need something tasty to encourage him to try it. His mum was 'a plain cook' :eek: and it's taken me 30 years to get him to eat anything with garlic, onion, chilli etc in it. He will even eat curry and really spicy chilli now, but has it with potato, as he still won't eat rice. He hates it, and pasta too. Any ideas for the duck will be gratefully received.
Off to shower and get ready to go out now. See ya all later.
I did a duck on Christmas day for the meat eaters...just scored the skin and browned in a frying pan then roasted like a chicken...My dad who is old fashioned northern bloke loved it0 -

Now two wee things to bear in mind;
1. Last day to redeem cutlery coupons at Tosco is 6th January.
2. Last day for redeeming your BS Glamour cards is 10th January.
Thanks for the reminders patty.
Morning all,
Has anyone used the glamour cards succesfully on sale items?
I know it could not be used in conjuction with offers well that is what the SA told me but she was not sure about sale. And I had forgotten to take my card to try.0 -
Morning all,Savvybuyer wrote: »This seems worth a quick phone call to HQ - assuming the vouchers are the correct value as I thought the £15+ ones may have to wait a week to be checked. If they are, the T&Cs (and FAQs) clearly allow you to use any number of APGs (the only restriction is the one £5 off per £40 shop).
I think I will contact HO about it though as it seems like this is a policy this particular store have just made up.
Regarding the person who was refused a refund for part of their return paid with APGS, I would have taken my goods and tried to exchange in a different store. I can't see every store being this mean.0 -

I haven't posted about the dolphins for a little while as it was so bad. So many dolphins and whales slaughtered, I didn't want to upset anyone.
I have had a headache from hell for 4 days now:eek: Thought I might be coming down with something but just can't shake it. Didn't sleep too well last night so I think I will try to have a nap this aft.
