Good morning all, just caught up. QPR10, so sorry for your loss, sending hugs.
Nikkilala, happy anniverary to you and your DH.
I'm off for a browse round the shops with DH today, and may treat us to a nice lunch somewhere.
I managed to get a big whole Gressingham duck really cheap in S last night. Does anyone have any good recipes for duck? DH pulled a face when I told him I'd bought it, so need something tasty to encourage him to try it. His mum was 'a plain cook' and it's taken me 30 years to get him to eat anything with garlic, onion, chilli etc in it. He will even eat curry and really spicy chilli now, but has it with potato, as he still won't eat rice. He hates it, and pasta too. Any ideas for the duck will be gratefully received.
Off to shower and get ready to go out now. See ya all later.

i got 2 of these before xmas in co-op very cheap  gave one to my dad and i kept one , we getting it out freezer in week roasting it then we will pull apart and make duck pie and duck cassarole and duck chineese style (home made chinees spices)with noodles or duck fahetas (wraps ol del paso:rotfl:style)

what were you thinking of doing?

    Hope all is well?

QPR ♥ & love your Bryn Missie - I'll try & get Bryn to stop dancing for 2 minutes to look at your picture.

Absolutely foul weather this morning :(

Fourp has this dreadful stomach bug that's doing the rounds :( so I had to go shopping on my own yesterday. We had train tickets from RSH so I gave his to friend at station :)
Work again today & my family return to Surrey tomorrow. But I think they will be avoiding our house as my Father has mentally painted a Red X on the door. (we don't handle sickness well :o )

Lots of very cheap stuff in Super Drug. Turkish Delight was 49p & Duc D'Or truffles 99p. Hawaiian Tropic 99p. Walkers posh chocolates in a Mucha tin £2.99
Bought a Kipling iPad case from T K Maxx for my Archos Tablet, which should be in my store today for collection :D:D

Oh & thank you - I got the £3 Finest ham on the bone - what an incredible amount of ham I've carved off & very tasty :)

i had phone call yes2day saying my order had been cancled so i asked how they were selling it for £69 now and they culdnt answere they said they wuld get back to me with what was going on , so last nite at 7pm i got a call saying that , they were sending me a £35 gift card and when it come back in stock soon- as i can not have subtuit as tescos direct dnt stock tablets for them selves they sell for other people (not sure how much i belive that ) but he said that when the gift card comes we culd use it towards another tablet if we wanted but im going to wait

(iv signed up to the stock alert email and ill check daily)

he said if i ring the tesco direct line when its back in stock i can get one delivered / they will see if it in store and then i can go get it for the same £49 it was boxing day. so i might have to wait a bit but it will only cost £14,and is all loged on my tesco acount he said and when they send gift card there will be a letter explaining all with it .:j

tesco direct (the offices in dundee) are amazing the guy on the phone culdnt belive what had happend as he said if it was out of stock then it out of stock , but how culd they cancle my order then sell it for 69 a bit later , im so pleased with they way it was resolved, wish all tescos staff were like the guy on the phone and the manager i spoke to top marks to them ,

what was better was i he offered everything and i didnt have to ask prompt:o:eek: , so my point is if your one was cancled after you recived a conformation email not the order number then you might get the same ,
