good morning everyone. having a day of catching up and building lego and playmobil today:)0
-
We shared so much together and there isn't a day that something reminds me of her or things we did but at least now I know & I can hear her saying "Onwards & upwards"
My MIL loathed and hated me always and didn't think much of her eldest son but when she had her diagnosis it was us she turned to for help. It turned us and our lives upside down for the few weeks she lasted but in an odd way I still think it was an honour and a privilege that she choose us to help her through the process. It was us sat with her as she lay dying, not her friends or the favourite son or his family, just us.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

All my lenors are gone. I have so much Lenor and comfort stashed away I don't think I will ever need to buy any ever again
But the next set of good mocs I will do :j“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Good morning all, just caught up. QPR10, so sorry for your loss, sending hugs.
Nikkilala, happy anniverary to you and your DH.
I'm off for a browse round the shops with DH today, and may treat us to a nice lunch somewhere.
I managed to get a big whole Gressingham duck really cheap in S last night. Does anyone have any good recipes for duck? DH pulled a face when I told him I'd bought it, so need something tasty to encourage him to try it. His mum was 'a plain cook' and it's taken me 30 years to get him to eat anything with garlic, onion, chilli etc in it. He will even eat curry and really spicy chilli now, but has it with potato, as he still won't eat rice. He hates it, and pasta too. Any ideas for the duck will be gratefully received.
Off to shower and get ready to go out now. See ya all later.
Have you tried DH with noodles i buy the dried ones normally Sharwoods dried egg noodles.
I cant eat pasta but love noodles.
Dont know any duck recipes sorry i hate duck.0 -
Price Promise in today on a full shop and nothing compares with Morrison = all N/A. Have Morries suddenly stopped selling bread and milk?
Grrrr!I say "THANKS" to posts that make me smile - Oh and really good glitches.:j
Good things come to those who wait:A Bad things come on express delivery:(0 -
BM is Brand Match which you get from S's and is capped at £10. It's a bit like an APG or PP.It automatically gets given to you with your receipt in S's if you spend £20 or more and your shopping is cheaper elsewhere:)
Thanks for this - sorry for the abbreviation, I used it as it was on the front page. (Perhaps we also ought to put the abbrev. "OOS" there as well - I use it quite a bit, means "out of stock".)
Don't forget the very few Sains. stores where you can't get a BM (as they don't have the technology link available). Also don't think it applies in Sains Locals. Check the list of excluded stores on the T&Cs: I'm sure if you Google (or Yahoo or Bing etc.) "Brand Match terms and conditions", it'll point you in the right place.0 -
