Depends how big the pan is that you're making the stew in..I use a huge pan and would use the whole lot but if its a slow cooker size I'd use half:)Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

Nikkilala, happy anniverary to you and your DH.
I'm off for a browse round the shops with DH today, and may treat us to a nice lunch somewhere.
I managed to get a big whole Gressingham duck really cheap in S last night. Does anyone have any good recipes for duck? DH pulled a face when I told him I'd bought it, so need something tasty to encourage him to try it. His mum was 'a plain cook'
Pleased to hear you survived the nights, hope you weren't too busy! We didn't go away, just aswell as I've had a seriously bad cough, just starting to feel a bit better today,
When I cook duck I hand mash raspberries or blackberries, smother over the duck and cook like a chicken but not for as long as I like it a bit pink. Make sure you leave it for 20 mins before carving as it will be more tender.
Thinking of you QPR10.
Thanks hun, sorry to hear you've got the lurgy, hope it's better soon. Try Robitussin cough medicine, works better than anything else. I knew you hadn't gone away, saw your post on here, hope you had a good Christmas.
Have decided to do duck with cherry sauce as DH doesn't like the seeds

Tesco Hi Val,
We've just this minute had updated information from our marketing team, who have told us that we will now be accepting these vouchers.
Sorry for any confusion caused!

Happy anniversary Nikkilala - they are the sweetest earrings, I am quite jealous :heartpuls.
Always remember taking DD into Tiffany's in new york. We were having a lovely look round, as you do, and she pointed to a diamond tennis bracelet and suggested it as a Christmas present as it was only $200! Had a closer look and it was $200,000! Was very nice though! They seem to assume everything is in the thousands in there and those last numbers are very small! Would have been very good for $200 dollars though, and was VERY pretty! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
