I have 2 cartons ( a pint total) of stock, how much do I use , 1/2 pint per stew or all of it ?
Or do you use a little bit like the tiny tubs of knorr stock you can buy ?

Depends how big the pan is that you're making the stew in..I use a huge pan and would use the whole lot but if its a slow cooker size I'd use half:)

When I cook duck I hand mash raspberries or blackberries, smother over the duck and cook like a chicken but not for as long as I like it a bit pink. Make sure you leave it for 20 mins before carving as it will be more tender.

Happy anniversary Nikkilala - they are the sweetest earrings, I am quite jealous :heartpuls.

Always remember taking DD into Tiffany's in new york. We were having a lovely look round, as you do, and she pointed to a diamond tennis bracelet and suggested it as a Christmas present as it was only $200! Had a closer look and it was $200,000! Was very nice though! They seem to assume everything is in the thousands in there and those last numbers are very small! Would have been very good for $200 dollars though, and was VERY pretty!
