it's in the kitchen! it's part of what i think looks like an extension so i'm wondering if it's even got insulation. the LL turned down insulating the loft last month (it's got 60cm in it atm) so i think he's probably done it all on the cheap.. we are renewing our lease on saturday (don't want to but no choice) so i'm going to show them the photos and ask them if they could do something about it cos its affecting my chest.
i think i'm gonna ask OH to bleach it tomorrow. it's making my chest bad just being ni there let alone trying to wash it!
here's the other part of the wall! http://i50.tinypic.com/15ev6fd.jpg
Once the problem is resolved, you can get special paints/undercoats designed to inhibit mould growth - I bought soe for our downstairs toilet as we had condensation issues in there.---
Happy Birthday
to SpagBol and PrincessLou
Hope you both have lovely days

Kerri - when I buy goodies, I hide them from Hubby or he'd eat them all in one go. He didn't like it at first but he's come round to my way of thinking eventually. I actually did the "you've eaten your share of chocs/crisps etc, these are mind so tough!" and enjoyed my goodies peevishly in front of him :rotfl:0

Now to go and hide the rest of the goodies...I have had to explain you don't open the 2nd layer of biscuits until you've eaten the top layer...this didn't go down too well as he doesn't like butter biscuits haahaha
Happy birthday SpagBol

AMR457 - I had problems with condensation and have found de-humidifier very good. I always put it on now when drying washing. I also use cooker extractor. The black mould may not clean off completely as it stains - damp paint mentioned above is good. If no kitchen extractor open window while cooking (and put 10 more jumpers on)
Good luck as mould is very bad for chests XDebt Free. Have my Van.Find dream

Hi everyone!
Sorry I've not posted for a few days and sorry I haven't read back either, work is absolutely mental - I've done four 16 hour days and got sent home "early" at 5.30pm today (having started at 7.15 this morning!) - on the plus side, I've halved the number of tax returns on my list which means I get the weekend off yay!
Direct debit went out today so my numbers now look like this:-
#058 - £331.52/£19,362 - 1.71%
Hope everyone is well - I promise I'll keep up better in February!
