Well nothing paid towards my target yet, but I am managing to stick to my budget for the most part. Need to do some "tweaking" when I finish a late shift from work
My new mantra needs to be "just because tesc*s is open 24hrs does not mean you need to frequent it at 11pm, just cause you have had a bad shift" :rotfl:
Well done to all those paying amazing amounts off their targets :beer:Mortgage Owed: Sept 14 - £107398.200 -

It's been a ruddy millstone around my neck for years, tempting me with rapid delivery of clothing goods and VIP sales of ol' tat no-one else wanted at bargainous prices. But it's GONE! Ha!

Hey everyone :hello:
Cheers for letting me rant r.e. my rent situation. think I'm just about over it, as kerri said it's the cost of renting these days and we just have to swallow it and try not to flat-hop too often!!
For those suffering with low mood etc, have you heard of the lightbox things you can get? They're not cheap tbh but we have one at work which I sit in front of occasionally and have to say do make me feel slightly better (may be placebo though!!) I bought my OH an alarm clock one for xmas, it wakes you up with a light that gradually gets brighter, in the theory that it is the 'natural' way to wake up, and makes you feel less tired. He hasn't tried it yet as it never worked out of the box so we need to swap itbut the reviews of Amaz0n are pretty positive.
Although I have been massively setback with paying for agency fees and lack of return of previous tenancy deposit I have been doing well on bargain hunting for my lunch! I set myself a limit of all work lunches for the week (5 days) for total of a £5, which I did mainly through hunting for heavily discounted supermarket food. I found I actually enjoyed the challenge!!
Shame I ruined it by buying takeaway last night
I have just signed up for the "Tough Mudder" challenge with some friends. Absolutely terrified as it's 12 mile assault course type of thing and means I'll need to do exercise 5 TIMES a week from now until 4 May aaarrrghghhhhhhhh!!!
Thanks for keeping me motivated on the debt busting everyonexx
Happy belated birthday Spag bol!x !!!!

I've had an email this morning alerting me to a change that was made to my credit file, nothing major.
Now looking at my credit file got me thinking. I know it was my own fault running up debt and then struggling to pay it off thus incurring charges and defaults etc. But it's really unfair that defaults last for 6 years isn't it?
I mean I will NEVER run up serious debt again but I suppose it's a deterrent for those who will never be good with money but a hindrance to those who have changed their ways. Just a mini rantIn debt no more!0
