Hi Guys,
Wow, sorry for going AWOL, I've been away for so long. A few things were going on in my personal life and Hubby and I just needed to live a little, so the debt busting fell off the wagon. However I am pleased to report that I am back on the case and will be present a lot more in 2014. I'm feeling positive about what 2014 has in store for me and my family, I just need to tow the debt into line. At this moment in time I have no idea how much we owe, I'll be sifting through the accounts this week so I can get a greater understanding of how things are. I know currently we are up !!!! creek without a paddle, we're trying to sell off things that we dont use anymore - a shed load of cds and dvds were shipped of to musicmagpie last week, and I've set up my own business although its very slow.
So I apologise for not being here - congratulations to everyone who has become debt free in my absence!
I'll report back soon with my figures.£2013 in 2013 £866.71/£2013

I think when we set the thread up, we can add extra admins too, so I will probably put out an appeal soon if anyone is interested? I don't know what spagbols plans are for the thread, but I will move at some point in the early half of next year, which will probably send me AWOL for a few weeks!
I will stay away from organising 2014 thread but will help with the following yearI only get on once or twice a week for a few minutes so no good until little man is older. Can I add you as an admin now mini or do I have to do it at the start of the thread set-up? I will investigate
I hope there is a 2014 thread though!!

And actually, as our budget stands, any extra credit is likely to be a little tempting at the moment, so probably for the best right now.

Hi everyone. Not sure when I stopped posting but I will add myself to the year end round up.
057 :j vw campervan mum £10018.00 / £12468.00 80.35% is the entry on the first page.
I sold my house in May and although I lost all my original equity £50k I did at least cover all my debts. I will have to stay in the rental sector now. I also am in the process of quitting my present stressful job and hope to find something simpler and less anxiety inducing in 2014.
Good luck to everyone, Merry Christmas and agreat 2014 X

Good job i'm not there minicooper, i'm ruthless when I go through my wardrobes, anything not worn this year is out. I've just gone through my shoes and had a good throw out. Feels so much better.xx
Want a job? :rotfl: I'm not too bad, I have worn virtually all my clothes at some point in the last year, but I do have quite a habit of buying clothes that are the image I would like to have, not the image I actually have - I've bought 8 pretty, feminine dresses in the last year, but don't have the confidence to get my legs out!i've started having smoothies for breakfast- really easy, must be if i can do it anyway LOL! i just blend up 4 or 5 fruits, add some ground flaxseed and water, then blend and hey presto I have a smoothie! I think you can add yoghurt etc if you want it to be creamier but I figure I have enough fat in me without adding to it.
Smoothies are good, but be wary that you will often eat more in a smoothie than you would if you ate the individual fruits. Quite plainly, would you normally eat 5 pieces of fruit for breakfast? I never used to count calories in fruit, but an apple has around 80 calories in it, so if you blend up 5 of those, you're sneaking 400 calories in.I will stay away from organising 2014 thread but will help with the following yearI only get on once or twice a week for a few minutes so no good until little man is older. No worries. I don't know if it's possible to add me in as admin now, but it's so late in the year, it's probably not worth trying! I am happy to set up the new thread when the time comes.
choclover welcome back! Don't worry about falling off the wagon, sometimes you need to just focus on one thing at a time, and I hope you have managed to sort out whatever is affecting your personal life!0 -
