Pay ALL your debt off by Xmas 2013

I can't wait until we are in a position to get accepted for 0% deals -sadly, with 8 different CC's
there aren't really any we don't already have. Hopefully as we slowly pay them off, we'll be able to start shuffling around for deals.
And actually, as our budget stands, any extra credit is likely to be a little tempting at the moment, so probably for the best right now.Long haul supporter #290POAYDBX2014 #043LBM Dec 2011 Debt £51K Debt Nov 2014 £42K0 -

I have quite a lot of clothes that I don't want to get rid of but don't wear often enough to justify all the drawer space... I think I feel a new years resolution coming on to stop buying things until the old one falls apart (and not replace half of them).
i did that with shoes this year!!! i have not bought any new boots despite really wanting some :rotfl:
i am aiming to get back into my size 14s by the summer, hopefully i'll get back to size 12 by the winter (when we are planning to take a holiday) so i kept all my size 12-14 holiday stuff 'just in case' :rotfl: currently a size 16 and rather flabby...0 -
Good job i'm not there minicooper, i'm ruthless when I go through my wardrobes, anything not worn this year is out. I've just gone through my shoes and had a good throw out. Feels so much better.xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.000

I am really ruthless when I clear out my wardrobe too. I do it every 6 months and anything I have not worn in 6 months goes on eBay twice and if it doesn't sell it goes to the charity shop. I do it with shoes and handbags too.
By the time the 6 months is getting close, my wardrobes doors are close to not closing so I need to do it. I will be spending the weekend between Christmas and new year doing the next clearout.SPC9 #125 - £816.85

i don't actually buy clothes that often, only if i really need to! i just did some essentials shopping in matalan so have jeans, trousers, tshirts, long sleeve tshirts and some zip up hoodies to see me through until spring!0 -
amr - junk food is definitely my nemesis. Trouble is when i was super skinny i ate junk food then aswell but i only tended to have 1 proper meal a day as I was a really busy bee. Not healthy at all.
32b3 - i have a clothes cull generally when i have no money and decide to put a load of things on the 'bay. I just keep a few items i really like and would love to wear if i could fit into them.:rudolf: DF by Xmas 2018: #83 £8,250/£15,000 55% :rudolf:

Have been doing really badly this year and I think we will end this year not far off where we started, but will try harder next year, promise!
same here x0 -
i've started having smoothies for breakfast- really easy, must be if i can do it anyway LOL! i just blend up 4 or 5 fruits, add some ground flaxseed and water, then blend and hey presto I have a smoothie! I think you can add yoghurt etc if you want it to be creamier but I figure I have enough fat in me without adding to it.
After christmas I'll try and eat more veggies and less junk... I figure smoothies are the first step!0
