I've just made a cheeky payment to round things up, so I've made a payment of £21.80 which brings my total to £77.08/3854.11 - 2%0

Hi everybody,
Long time no see as I've been AWOL. It feels like I've been gone ages but looking back over the thread it's only been a month.
In March I behaved like a Spendy Thing and bought 'stuff' (i-pod, replacement laptop, replacement hairdryer), everything was paid for and no further debts have been accumulated. Two of the three things were needs as opposed to wants, but I still have buyer's remorse.
Congratulations to all those that have become debt free over the last four weeks, and well done to those who have continued to make payments.
Commiserations to those that have been Spendy Things like me, I blame it on the first hump after Christmas. Next hump due at the end of June. So be prepared.
I've just sat down and brought my payments up to date and it's a little disappointing. I've been keeping to the plan and I'm still on course but looking at the figures in black and white it doesn't look like I've made much headway.
So April it the month for knuckling down again, and we're living out of the store cupboard and chest freezer. The money for my monthly grocery allocation has already been spent on a supermarket gift card and that's what I'm using for buying top-up groceries. It means I don't have any cash in my purse so I can't be tempted to spend it elsewhere, but it also means I've got a means to buy 'proper' food as opposed to coffee shop coffee and cakes.
So here are my updated stats:
# 24 11374.40 / 14300 = 79.54%

amr what a strange obsession! Can you try saving £2-3 a month? It's an easy enough saving, and would take you a few months!
kerfuffle You've done so well despite the hump, well done! :T
Good news today; the pay rise letters came through! I've received a £550 pay rise, which they said was 1% over the company wide average, because I've been working so hard! They also said they're pushing for me to get a promotion in 3 months :j
Between the pay rise and the higher tax allowance, I will be about £55 a month better off, so I'm giving myself £20 for my monthly allowance and £20 more to my deposit fund, with the rest available for emergencies.0 -

You are doing so well, not long now! :TDMP started Oct '17: £79,974 :eek::eek::eek::eek:0 -
Grrrr MBNA have taken the minimum payment despite me having paid it already and saying I would be paying a min payment of £0 today on the website! I can't have read the small print properly  I thought it was like my b'card where it charges you less if you make a payment. Oh well, it's an extra overpayment but it does leave the bank accounts looking tight! Might persuade DH to do another car booty because it is still 2 weeks to payday
Anyway, my new total with 2 DDs out today:

Hello all!
Kerfuffle - you may not feel like you've made much debt-busting progress but you've been able to afford to buy items and not create more debt for yourself which is a fab thing.
Payday next Friday. Still within budget but don't think I'll have any money spare to make any extra payments. Should be able to credit card down to 3 figures (before the decimal point not £9.99 3 figures)

New business is getting sales every other day now. I have shops setup on the website, fleabay and etsy
All have had sales. I need to sit down today and do the books, I have no idea how much has been spent vs how much has been earned.
Anybody else watching GBSB? I want to start making clothes, so I've signed up to sewdirect and ordered my first patterns. Exciting! Although must STOP spending.
I have £100 left in my bank account until the end of the month, joint account has £25. Thank goodness OH's loan is in soon, feeling the pinch eepDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

The same happened to me aswell last month, minimum payment was £47.46, I paid it each week until it was at £0.00 then £47.46 came out on the 20th, I have recently read on the site that you still have to pay the full minimum payment even if you make addition payments through out the month, hope it hasn't left you too tight for cash this month xThe 1% Challenge #76 - Debt 1 = £620 - 1% = £6.20 - 4.3%
Debt 2 = £1600- 1% = £16 - 0%
Debt 3 = £1012 - 1% = £10.12 0%
