Hi xJOJOx  I have added you, you are #162, but I am a bit confused about your figures...I have put you down as having to pay off £4715.75 is that right? When you post an update put how much you have paid off so far as that is what we record on the front page. So next week you could be:

    #162 £10 / £4715.75

    Welcome and good luck! :j

Well done everyone for your payments :T
Hi Thats right, thank you very much. My balance transfers have all been agreed so will be able to update when all paperwork comes through, now ill be able to start getting my debt down. Thanks xxx

I've got a big decision to make - I have about £800 in premium bonds, which is a combination of 18th, 21st and graduation money, £150 from my original teenage savings and £100 of winnings. The gift money came with a condition that I can't spend it on perishable things, and I don't want to 'waste' it on a chunk of jewellery. Should I put it towards a house deposit?

Yes :D. House deposit is a very good use for it.

Kerri you should go to the docs and see if you need your thyroid meds adjusting and also ask for a vitamin B12 test. Glad to hear the website is going well :T
Thanks, I'll make an appointment on Monday :)

One week until payday!!! This month I've paid £1526.21 to the CC and only spent £1176.50, so the balance is coming down slowly! I have some more fleabay bits finishing today so that'll be some more payments towards it.

I've opened up a second PPal account for the business now and there is a nice £40+ sat in the account, although I've spent much more than that to get it started. I had a third order yesterday, so if I can get the website finished this weekend I shall be asking for some a googling :D

Looking forward to payday and being able to make another dent in this debt.

Thanks for your suggestions Minicooper!!! I think peak district might be closer to us - anyone been there?

Still two and a half weeks til pay day... hurry UP! OH is paid a week on friday...

Still super impressed at how much we have paid off so far though!!!!

You could try Castleton. Lots of B&B's or the youth hostel which is lovely. all in walking distance to the pubs restaurants and the caverns to see and Mam Tor to walk up if you fancy, or you can drive most of the way and climb the last bit. Amazing views and a nice chilled area. I am going twice this year, once in May and again in September with 50 15 year olds eek!

  • Since payday I have managed to pay £280 off of catalogue 1 and £45 off of cc1. I'm still waiting for a few more statements to come before I can pay anything else.

My Xmas savings pot is also growing nicely, I really want to be organized this year so nothing goes on the credit card. I will update my totals tomorrow as I'm off out soon for a girl's night in..
