Deposit has been put down for the car, OH is picking it up on Friday :j and paying in cash, so no debt! OH got about £200 from his overtime and then his second job will pay £200 too, then he'll get £120 for scrapping his old car so it's a good chunk off what we'll pay for the car.

So, we might still be able to pay off the sofas in April, yay!

my card got comprimised, so when i went to pay for my car insurance it gotdeclined (as i was paying in full). i have £20 to do me til i get my new card... normally that would be fine, but its my sons birthday at the start of april and i am planning has party and need to buy a few bits and bobs from the net , so timing is rubbish.
Trying tothink where it could have happened from, and only two places other than chip n pin in mr t's has been a chinese supermarket and amazon.

Well done on all the payments.

that's basically what i've been doing i am OBSESSED with moving (or buying??) and i ujst research it to death on the internet, seen loads of places id love to move then get aggravated cos i cant do it yet :rotfl: its not healthy......but i guess im 'wised up'

It's nice to know I'm not the only one! I've so far managed to resist emailing to arrange a viewing... I started to look at job sites just as much as I've been looking at house sites these days. Must resist!

Lolalemon when it comes to stealing bank details, it can be anywhere you've used your card in the last 6 months. It's happened to 2 of my credit cards before! Thankfully all the payments were declined (I don't know whether to be insulted they thought £180 at JD Sports was fraud...)

Almost double posting to say, FINALLY:

    #119 $6937.32/$8000

It's rather nice seeing it written out like that, because in my bank account it looks much worse now that I've taken on this extra debt. But that's investment debt and I have to keep them separate for my own[STRIKE] in[/STRIKE]sanity.

Well done, you are doing so well! :T

Oh no how awful. I had that when I was a student, they had sent my new card to shared accommodation and someone had nicked it :( Hope it is all sorted out soon and you aren't left out of pocket.

I know what you mean - i was well on track to be DF by November time. However looks like i'll be buying a car on finance this week so DFness isnt going to happen fully until 2014. I've decided to complete this challenge as using the pre-car debt level and then be back next year for the car debt. Get used to seeing me around!

Yes, I have a HP (even though it costs a lot, it's actually worked out well because ... it's a good car!)

Equi*ax anger me  I've been 'failed' on the statutory report questions twice now and I don't know why! I've answered the questions correctly... and they say to call, when I'm deaf, how the beep am I supposed to call them!
