Wow well done, keep it up (even if you are whooping my butt!! :rotfl::rotfl:) :T:TJust paid the final £500 off OHs credit card. We officially have no credit card debt!
#146: £2150/£5000 43%
It's a lovely feeling clearing anything. Last year when we did our "not going anywhere or doing anything" challenge we treated ourselves to a takeaway every time a card was cleared. It worked out about once every 3 months and was such a treat32b3in2013 wrote: »Hi everyone
Another 2 buyers have paid this evening so another payment has gone on my credit card. I need to pay £56 odd to take balance on the card to less than £1000. The balance was at nearly £3000 in the middle of Jan 2013. I WILL take it under £1k tomorrow

Another one to pay and loads ending tomorrow

What's up? Can we help?
I'm just bad at guesstimating how much we will spend on xyz, pretty sure I've blown the food budget again :rotfl: need to have more control ie 'we are only going to spend this much' but then I use my card for everything......
e: but to be fair, we've only been living out for a year. previously it was all mum and dad that did the budgeting.......0 -

Food was one of my biggest money pits, so I keep my food budget in a separate purse now. I take out £40 after pay day, and the other £40 when that money disappears.
Kerri we could maybe help bring up the search ranking if we all googled you?0 -
Soooo much quicker, although not sure the pictures are as good quality. But at least I can just edit them next week if the things don't sell. I'm almost at the bottom of a 3rd box now
it's gradually going down wooohooo.
I didn't make a single sale on my new business todayI think I need to get the search rankings up and maybe then I'll start getting some. Although also thinking I need to improve images. It's so hard trying to start a business, so many things to do. Although I feel like the wind has been knocked from my sales by not getting a sale today. Oh well, onwards and upwards I will make it work
I work in online marketing if you want some help! Just send me a PM and I'll have a looksie and make some suggestions?0 -

I'm going to work on the SEO today, I've googled the site and it is coming up but the descriptions are bad so that means I need to work on the metadata. When I've done that can I ask you all to google me?

I am the same, as Kerry says I am better when I use cash or debit card to when I really need to budget I go to Lidl or Aldi. Have you also tried the downshift challenge where you go down one brand level i.e. if you usually buy a brand (heinz etc) then go to shop own brand, if you usually go for that then go shop budget brand. They are all really good!DMP started Oct '17: £79,974 :eek::eek::eek::eek:0 -
We've found we're really good when we work in cash, the moment we switch to card we're terrible. So next month it's back to cash again, thank goodness the OH's dissertation is almost finished and we can really knuckle down again.
