    Please can i join?

I really want to be debt free by the end of this year so we can start saving for a family and bigger house.

    Our current debts are:

    Credit Card £2000
    Loan £3000

They were a bit bigger before today but the OCD side of me wants to start this challenge with a nice round figure!

    So total debt is £5000!

Hi jonesy  you are #146 :j
Please may I join....I have £3288 to pay off before I can really start concentrating on saving for the future.

Well done to all of you that have made such progress so far - I have seen some impressive figures on here! Now off to read some more of the thread and nick some more tips ;)

Hi PinkPepperPot, you are #147

Welcome both of you!! I will update the front page very soon but you can all get updating whenever you like :)

Yes, it seems we've almost spent a grand in a week  - No more spends for me!

On the plus side, I've realised I'll be due holiday pay from work and I've recalculated my entire spreadsheet and it seems I can bring our DFD forward a few months to Feb 2015!!! :j:j:j

 Never mind, keep plugging away!

Phew! I've finished updating and will update the front page now.

My own update on DH's payday:

    #002 £1,697 / £45,000 3.77%

Sorry I haven't been on here much, I have had all sorts of family and work dramas going on. I will keep updating the spreadsheet and hope to get on here later for a good old catch up with everyone.

Keep debtbusting you wonderful people!! :j

Well that's it now. The budget has been balanced and this is the last of the available funds on my bank account.

All I have left is £137.00 for the rest of the month on my groceries card which will have to do for food and Petrol until payday again.

    Hi

I came on here to confess. I bought a handbag and purse yesterday.

I didn't increase my debt, but it was (a lot of) money which I could have paid off of my credit card. Both were in the sale, but they still cost much more than I should have spent.

I feel disappointed in myself really :(

I will be relisting the ebay items which didn't sell lst weekend when free listing comes around again, but not sure I will make the amount I spent yesterday
