  • i feel like i will never have any sort of life. this month i have bought two books £15 and paid £12 towards some new plates. apart from paying for normal food and debt repayments that is it.
    fed up x

I know exactly how you feel and that is unfortunately the peril of having debt.

However! as soon as the debt is gone, I "will" treat myself, DD1 & DD2 to a weekend spa break. (perfectly timed for Xmas pressie) :T:o:T

    Please can i join?

I really want to be debt free by the end of this year so we can start saving for a family and bigger house.

    Our current debts are:

    Credit Card £2000
    Loan £3000

They were a bit bigger before today but the OCD side of me wants to start this challenge with a nice round figure!

    So total debt is £5000!

Sorry SpagBol, I have another update :o

Sorted out my monthly spreadsheet and have found another £52 which is spare so have paid that, bringing my total now to

    £318.86/£1566.

I am 30 in 25 days, and would love to have paid off all my debt by then, with just under £300 to go. Its going to be a tough one but I want to get as close as I can.

  • This is a bit random and very off topic but my friend is currently training as a special police office (the volunteer ones) after 10 years of trying to get into the force. Any suggestions for a congratulations present? I can't think of anything!

Ok, so I can't put it off any longer! I've updated my spreadsheet and it HURTS!!!

    #27 £194.79/£6000 (3.25%)

Yes, it seems we've almost spent a grand in a week  - No more spends for me!

On the plus side, I've realised I'll be due holiday pay from work and I've recalculated my entire spreadsheet and it seems I can bring our DFD forward a few months to Feb 2015!!! :j:j:j
