    Morning

Number 104 reporting for debt slaying duties! Have had a really good January but February proving to be more of a challenge. DH's car off road as making a funny noise but FIL says he can fix it for about £30 which is amazing! Lots of birthdays and nights out that we are committed to but trying to make them as MSE as possible. Still hoping to save as much as possible this month to overpay our credit cards.

Well done to everybody for such a fantastic January :j

  • I have a confession :o, I've had a bit of a spendy weekend and have treated myself to a kindle! I've also bought some new clothes, managed to get a pair of jeans from monsoon for £13.50 knocked down from £50 and some stuff from new look. Pleased to report that they are in the next size down :D to give me some more inspiration to get the weight shifted! I have lost a couple more pounds and are only 3lbs away from being halfway to my easter target of another stone lost! Can't believe how easy it's falling off (says here embarrassingly munching through hubby's packet of maryland cookies!). Although January has been a tough month with Hubby being home so often eating whatever he wants. So it's not going to look that great in a few days when I update my spreadsheet - even once the PPI cheque has cleared, but I think I deserved the treat.

  • Well for once I have been sensible and went into the bank and physically reduced my overdraft limit by £200 so I can't spend it again.

Been giving myself a "mini challenge" of living on £7.50 each day, for the rest of the month I am going to try £6 per day. Which will hopefully leave me an extra £100 ish at the end of the month.

Just stocked up on plenty of veg to make soup.. It'll save pennies and keep out the cold!

two weeks until payday and i have £3.59 left. oh for goodness sake.

i have a dinner party for 8 to buy the food for and two more weeks normal shopping to do. so will stick to budget as much as i can but clearly the credit card is coming out again this month.

i feel like i will never have any sort of life. this month i have bought two books £15 and paid £12 towards some new plates. apart from paying for normal food and debt repayments that is it.

    fed up x
