    Can you add me too please? I kind of lost the plot a bit on this challenge last year and have only really come back to the site yesterday. I really need to get things sorted and am so angry with myself for adding to our debt even though it was for a car that we needed. But still. It added to the debt.

    Current debt figure *please look away*

    £14,174

    I'm so embarrassed I may run off and hide

    Hey starnac, welcome home! :wave:

    You are #148, good luck and don't worry about last year the slate has been wiped clean and you can do it! :j:j:j
    DMP started Oct '17: £79,974 :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
  • You will appreciate this:

    As I was leaving work, I suddenly heard this scraping sound from the front tyre, so I pulled into a space outside to have a look. I saw this cable sticking out of the tyre, and started thinking 'oh heck, this looks expensive!' I tugged a bit, and it was stuck, so I thought I'd go ask the security guard if they knew any thing about cars...

    I went in, security guard said he'd come out, he dons his high vis, and the whole way I'm saying 'I just don't know what it can be, but at least it happened here, so I have somewhere to sit if I have to call the AA!'

    When we get to the car, he pulls out his torch, shines it on the tyre, and 3 seconds later tells me "it's a twig"! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    In my defence it was a rather large branch, which is why it didn't come out when I pulled, and it was dark! :o

    Poor OH, he's doing loads of overtime atm plus the second job. :( I am on a salary so can't do much in the way of making extra pennies.

    And our neighbours just moved out :-/ hope we get nice new ones!
