    gaaaaaah men are ANNOYING!

he's been in a mood since he picked me up, god knows why. just started doign tea, spag bol, he put a whole 500g pack of mince in the pan i said we never use that much??? and hes like we'll eat the leftovers, he knows i don't eat much mince ever. so because he had so much mince, one jar of bolognese sauce wasnt enough so he poured an entire tin of tomatoes into it as well, it tastes like absolute cr*p, he's mardy, i'm hungry, i'm just going to go to bed in a minute... we are meant to be going shopping in another city torrow and hes moaning about that too so im just gonna go on my own.

Yes of course! Would you like me to add the £3250 to your previous total or start again from 0 with a different challenge number?

I'd prefer to start from 0, but you could just over-write my previous number if that's easier? I don't mind, because I'll always know what I cleared! Let me know!

Well done on all the pay day payments! It's an explosion of pink updates today!

I feel awfully tearful today, no idea why, because I'm perfectly happy! The last 2 days I felt like I was about to cry after reading a mildly sad new article. And it hasn't gone away! I just want a box of tissues and a sad film...

Wohoo!! Pay day - AT LAST!!!

I have finally been able to get on the lap top to redistribute my negative wealth :rotfl::rotfl:

Been doing the January Financial Freeze challenge which has made sooooo much difference in spending this month - its a bit hard core but feels worth it now I can see the benefit - which is I can pay off a massive £700 off my debt so my total are:
    # 008 £700 / £1175 59%
This has cleared my Barclaycard - only Lloyds left to pay off now.

This means my DFD should be payday on 27th Feb 2013 - I am so excited :j:j:j:j:j:j

  • right, our final debt bill came in today, so we now know officially how much debt we owe

I am number 117. Please can my total be updated to £12403.90. So far this year we have paid off £282.34. I make that 2.28% paid off, but have no idea if I have calculated this correctly or not!!! Can anyone help verify if I have done this correctly or not?

It feels good to finally have some numbers on the board! We kind of hoped to have paid off more than we have this month, but it has been tough. On the plus side, we have not added to our debts at all this month, so it isn't all bad. Trying to be positive!!

Hi Newlywed, yes you've worked out the % correctly. Congratulations on taking that first step - it'll get better from now on and you've already made some great payments. So well done to you :T:T:T

  • Free ebay listings again this weekend - if anyone wants to top up their totals/clear out their junk/keep themselves entertained whilst they're snowed in! :D
  • Ok well got in a bit of a pickle earlier this week worrying about not making any payments. BUT managed to get an interview on Wednesday for a second part time job which I can hopefully fit in around the first job and three children and a husband. Trying to decide if we can reasonably live on £100 per week for a couple of months so I can try and get the smaller debts paid off. What does everyone think? All help and advice very gratefully received xxx
    No buying toiletries in 2013:cool:
