My direct debits and standing orders have come out now. I paid back money to the in laws which I'd not included in my overall debt as it was a short term measure leaving myself short because I didn't get my Christmas overtime pay!

Wohoo!! Pay day - AT LAST!!!
I have finally been able to get on the lap top to redistribute my negative wealth :rotfl::rotfl:
Been doing the January Financial Freeze challenge which has made sooooo much difference in spending this month - its a bit hard core but feels worth it now I can see the benefit - which is I can pay off a massive £700 off my debt so my total are:# 008 £700 / £1175 59%This has cleared my Barclaycard - only Lloyds left to pay off now.
This means my DFD should be payday on 27th Feb 2013 - I am so excited :j:j:j:j:j:j
Woo-hoo exciting, well done! :TOk well got in a bit of a pickle earlier this week worrying about not making any payments. BUT managed to get an interview on Wednesday for a second part time job which I can hopefully fit in around the first job and three children and a husband. Trying to decide if we can reasonably live on £100 per week for a couple of months so I can try and get the smaller debts paid off. What does everyone think? All help and advice very gratefully received xxx
Good luck for the interview
I can do £100pw for food and petrol (local journeys only) although there's only 4 of us.Newlywed_Saving_Ninja wrote: »I am loving seeing all the total updates rolling in now payday is here for many of us!!! It spurs me on!
Oh and broken, I agree, this group is awesome! I have felt a bit despondent this month, but it has always helped to come on here and read other posts

Hello and welcome Fleur  You are #135 :j
Well done on all the payments everyone, keep it up! So far this month we have paid off over £80k :T (admittedly some of that carried over from the previous total but still a good amount) let's see if we can get it higher!
I have got some bits finishing on ebay today so hope they pay up promptly and I can make a payment later today :TDMP started Oct '17: £79,974 :eek::eek::eek::eek:0 -

Welcome fleur, good luck with the payments!
I'm in a bit of a pickle - I sold my first item on eBay last Friday, last Monday the buyer contacted to ask if she could pick up today (3day wait for any contact ). I said that was absolutely fine, and asked her to let me know what time she wanted to come round. Not a peep from her yet, and now I don't know if I can leave the house in case I miss her. Or whether she's still coming (ever) What do I do? I need to nip out for an hour later.0 -

If you haven't organised a time, just go out! If she lodges a complaint they'll be able to see you tried and she didn't bother. Keep emailing so she gets the message
