fleabay buyer hasn't turned up today and I'm a bit  I don't know what to do with the item, I can't re-list it until I know if she still wants it, but if I wait for her to get back to me, I'll miss the free listing weekend, and could wind up getting peanuts! I sent a message to ask if she was still coming round, and another one later to say I was nipping out for an hour (hopefully that'll make her feel bad).
Going to list a few more things tonight, and see if I can get some money together for the savings pot.0 -

Another 3 items paid for on ebay today so new total is....

Ebay and the post office are conspiring against me tonight. The RM website is down for maintenance, so I can't print my postage labels through paypal
7 more items ending tomorrow and 2 items sold today are yet to be paid for, so hopefully I will be able to update again soon

You are doing a roaring trade on ebay, well done! This was me last year not got much to sell now sadly :eek:32b3in2013 wrote: ȣ80k paid off is an amazing amount SpagBol. Thank you for running the thread
I read everyday, usually on my phone. I only switch my laptop on to update my total on here. This thread is so insiring. I would never had paid every penny I have earned on ebay this month onto my credit card if it wasn't for this thread.
You are all amazing. Thank you xx
Roll on payday. I will update with my regular payments on Thursday night to ensure they get into January's total calculation. :money:
edit, sorry, I appear to have taken over the thread lol. I do not know how to multi quote!
It wouldn't be amazing without all of you updating! Thanks and keep the updates coming everyone :T Sorry I can't reply to everyone but I am so proud of all of youDMP started Oct '17: £79,974 :eek::eek::eek::eek:0 -

I have set up an account to pay money into each month for all car expenses (car is paid for so just annual expenses), but I doubt there will be enough in there this year to py it all, but next year there will be.
eeek!! that's a lot. i'm able to pay off my car insurance in one go this year so that saves me a lotta money month to month. i have currently got it just under £400, woo! it was £1100 last year and £1800 the 6 months before  (i ended up cancelling the policy cos it was just too expensive!!)0 -

My insurance is £300 a year. My niece (aged 18), who passed her test 2 weeks ago got a quote of £4500 a year insurance on a 1 litre fiesta which was for sale for £1k. Insurance prices are crazy :eek:SPC9 #125 - £816.85

I have a clear out around twice a year. All the stuff I am selling now are things I haven't worn since my last clearout which was in July 2012. A lot of the stuff still has tags on. I have been really brutal this time though. A few designer bags and a couple of pairs of hardly worn Ugg boots as well as presents I have received and not used.
I might start selling all the jewellery my ex bought me that I didn't want in the first place too. It may sound ungrateful, but he bought me loads of over priced stuff which I would never wear. For example, I wanted tickets to a specific theatre show and he got me a Tiffany necklace instead. I wanted a small bottle of my fav perfume to keep in my work bag and instead he bought me a Gucci ring!
It does sound ungrateful really but I think we spoke different languages. How can, "I would love a new pair of Levi's" sound to him like "please buy me a white gold floating heart with black diamonds in it"??SPC9 #125 - £816.85

32b3in2013 I understand this one - you drop all kinds of hints, but I think men panic that they will get it wrong and default to 'jewelery shop' and 'shiny' because that must make it good!
As awful as this sounds, I told my bf not to buy me any jewellery from a jewellery shop, with a price tag of over £10 or with diamantes on it, and he interpreted that to mean a necklace covered in diamantes from the jewellery counter in Debenhms. I made him return it and buy me a functional watch instead :rotfl: he will learn...0 -

Yes my DH used to be like this. And with DVDs too, I NEVER watch DVDs (except Davina ) and yet for Xmas and Birthdays I always used to get about 5 films that I didn't want to watch (but DH did!).
Oh, and flowers!! If ever we had a row DH would send a MASSIVE interflora bunch of flowers to work, must have cost about £60!! I would be even more cross every time he did that so he got the message...but the downside is I never get bought flowers any more :rotfl: Why can't they see the difference between £60 after THEM being an idiot and a £3 bunch of tulips once a month to cheer me up? :rotfl:DMP started Oct '17: £79,974 :eek::eek::eek::eek:0 -
