  • Thanks for the tip Ruby, will be ebaying LOTS of wedding stuff this weekend. We want our house back!!!

Daizy, I am not sure if you could live off £100 a week with 5 of you as we have no children, but I am sure some other people will wade in on this one...

Had a bit of a fall out with the OH last night but this morning seems calm!

Shopping trip is cancelled as it snowed during the night and there's been a few accidents on the main roads already.

We are off to the chicken factory shortly to stock up the freezer...

Ok well got in a bit of a pickle earlier this week worrying about not making any payments. BUT managed to get an interview on Wednesday for a second part time job which I can hopefully fit in around the first job and three children and a husband. Trying to decide if we can reasonably live on £100 per week for a couple of months so I can try and get the smaller debts paid off. What does everyone think? All help and advice very gratefully received xxx

Congrats! :T I dunno about £100 for a family, but I reckon you could do it, as long as none of you needs anything, just food and minor expenses. your main expense would be food though, but if you wander over to the grocery challenge, some people there can feed a family of 5 for <£5 a day.

Is anyone else struggling with their totals re overdraft debt? Because ours fluctuates so much, I have to include it in my total debt, but not payments made. I'm hoping come the end of Feb, that we'll be out of the overdrafts so will be able to calculate how much we've paid off of that

Keep it going everyone, can't believe how much has been paid in Jan already!
    £2000/£9000=22.2%:)
  • I am loving seeing all the total updates rolling in now payday is here for many of us!!! It spurs me on!

Oh and broken, I agree, this group is awesome! I have felt a bit despondent this month, but it has always helped to come on here and read other posts :)
